    Abstract Methanation is an effective way to efficiently utilize product gas generated from the pyrolysis and gasification of organic solid wastes. To deeply study the heat transfer and mass transfer mechanisms in the reactor, a successful three-dimensional comprehensive model has been established. Multiphase flow behavior and heat transfer mechanisms were investigated under reference working conditions.     Abstract The issue of plastic pollution has attracted widespread social attention. Gelatin is valued as a degradable bio-based material, especially as an edible active packaging material.     Abstract The poor bonding performance between aqueous adhesives represented by melamine-urea formaldehyde (MUF) resins and reed straw hinders their applications in the field of non-wood-based panels. Multi-hydroxyl polymers are highly reactive and are often used as crosslinkers. This study fabricated a resin with a strengthened cross-linked structure by combining a multi-hydroxyl polymer and MUF resin prepolymer.     Abstract Iron-pillared bentonite (FB) was prepared by Fe(III) modified bentonite, and then the composites (FB-OS) were prepared by iron-pillared bentonite and oyster shell powder. The composites were characterized by FTIR, SEM, TGA, and EDS, and the phosphorus removal test was carried out. The results showed that FB-OS contained a large amount of CaO. Its structure was compact, but there were gaps in it. The maximum bending stress and compressive strength were 43.7 N and 0.927 MPa, respectively.     Abstract The material associated with tree pruning in a city in the Colombian neotropics was characterized in order to determine its energy potential.
