    Abstract With the current trend of deregulation, more power exchange between GENCOs and DISCOs in different areas exists in the power system. To mitigate the unscheduled power exchange meets the common interests of GENCOs and DISCOs, and avoids the power over-loading on tie-lines. However, in the current control performance standards (CPS), frequency deviations have priority in the conventional automatic generation control (C-AGC).     Abstract This paper reports the experimental study of water pressure properties inside crack of Non-ballasted track structure. Pre-existing crack concrete specimens with 510 × 1290 × 80mm dimensions were produced, and fluid-fracture interaction tests under cyclic loading were performed. The water pressure were measured at different locations inside cracks and with different loading frequencies as well as amplitudes. By using the experimental data, then is employed to investigate the water pressure distribution inside cracks affected by both the frequency and amplitude under cyclic loading.     Abstract The disadvantages in power system with traditional industrial frequency transformer can be resolved by Solid State Transformer (SST). Cascaded SST can be transformerless connected to the high voltage grid. However, the output performance and reliability of cascaded SST are seriously influenced by DC voltage balancing problem which exists in cascaded configuration. In this paper, a DC voltage balancing strategy based on active vector correction is proposed. This strategy is characterized by on-demand active power and equal reactive power among modulars. Unipolar and bipolar modulations are widely used in active power filter of PV grid-connected inverter. Unipolar modulation is good at harmonic, ripples and efficiency control, while bipolar modulation is good at grid-connected current control.     Abstract The goal of this paper is (i) adopt fusion of features (ii) determine the best method of feature selection technique among ant Colony optimisation, artificial bee colony optimisation and genetic algorithm. The experimental results reported that ant colony Optimisation is a promising techniques as feature selection on Keystroke Dynamics as it outperforms in terms of recognition rate for our inbuilt database where the distance between the keys has been considered for the password derivation with recognition rate 97.85%.
