    Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of Adaptive Generalized Dynamic Inversion (AGDI) to track the position of a Linear Flexible Joint Cart (LFJC) system along with vibration suppression of the flexible joint. The proposed AGDI control law will be comprised of two control elements. The baseline (continuous) control law is based on principle of conventional GDI approach and is established by prescribing the constraint dynamics of controlled state variables that reflect the control objectives. The control law is realized by inverting the prescribed dynamics using dynamically scaled Moore-Penrose generalized inversion. To boost the robust attributes against system nonlinearities, parametric… More >

    Gun-Yoon Shin1, Dong-Wook Kim1, Sang-Soo Kim2, Myung-Mook Han3,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.68, No.3, pp. 3289-3303, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.017502

Abstract Detection of unknown attacks like a zero-day attack is a research field that has long been studied. Recently, advances in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have led to the emergence of many kinds of attack-generation tools developed using these technologies to evade detection skillfully. Anomaly detection and misuse detection are the most commonly used techniques for detecting intrusion by unknown attacks. Although anomaly detection is adequate for detecting unknown attacks, its disadvantage is the possibility of high false alarms. Misuse detection has low false alarms; its limitation is that it can detect only known attacks. To overcome such… More >

    Yuanmin Shi1,2, Siran Yin1,2, Ze Chen1,2, Leiming Yan1,2,*

Journal of Information Hiding and Privacy Protection, Vol.3, No.1, pp. 9-16, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jihpp.2021.012193

Abstract Privacy protection is a hot research topic in information security field. An improved XGBoost algorithm is proposed to protect the privacy in classification tasks. By combining with differential privacy protection, the XGBoost can improve the classification accuracy while protecting privacy information. When using CART regression tree to build a single decision tree, noise is added according to Laplace mechanism. Compared with random forest algorithm, this algorithm can reduce computation cost and prevent overfitting to a certain extent. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more effective than other traditional algorithms while protecting the privacy information in training data. More >

A New BEM for Fractional Nonlinear Generalized Porothermoelastic Wave Propagation Problems

    Mohamed Abdelsabour Fahmy1,2,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.68, No.1, pp. 59-76, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.015115

Abstract The main purpose of the current article is to develop a novel boundary element model for solving fractional-order nonlinear generalized porothermoelastic wave propagation problems in the context of temperature-dependent functionally graded anisotropic (FGA) structures. The system of governing equations of the considered problem is extremely very difficult or impossible to solve analytically due to nonlinearity, fractional order diffusion and strongly anisotropic mechanical and physical properties of considered porous structures. Therefore, an efficient boundary element method (BEM) has been proposed to overcome this difficulty, where, the nonlinear terms were treated using the Kirchhoff transformation and the domain integrals were treated using… More >
