Quantum Blockchain: A Decentralized, Encrypted and Distributed Database Based on Quantum Mechanics

    Chuntang Li1, Yinsong Xu1, Jiahao Tang1, Wenjie Liu1,2,*

    Journal of Quantum Computing, Vol.1, No.2, pp. 49-63, 2019, DOI:10.32604/jqc.2019.06715

Abstract Quantum blockchain can be understood as a decentralized, encrypted and distributed database based on quantum computation and quantum information theory. Once the data is recorded in the quantum blockchain, it will not be maliciously tampered with. In recent years, the development of quantum computation and quantum information theory makes more and more researchers focus on the research of quantum blockchain. In this paper, we review the developments in the field of quantum blockchain, and briefly analyze its advantages compared with the classical blockchain. The construction and the framework of the quantum blockchain are introduced. Then we introduce the method of… More >

Uniform Query Framework for Relational and NoSQL Databases

    J.B. Karanjekar1, M.B. Ch,ak2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.113, No.2, pp. 177-187, 2017, DOI:10.3970/cmes.2017.113.177

Abstract As the data managed by applications has evolved over the years with the arrival of Web 2.0, a large number of new databases have been developed to manage various types of data. While the traditional relational databases continue to exist, NoSQL databases which are document oriented or key-value stores or columnar continue to evolve and are embraced very rapidly across the industry. It is not just the type of data handled by these databases that is different but also the query language they use is also different. This paper talks about a uniform query framework that can be used for… More >

Precise Evaluation of Vehicles Emission in Urban Traffic Using Multi-agent-based Traffic Simulator MATES

    Hideki Fujii1, Shinobu Yoshimura1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.88, No.1, pp. 49-64, 2012, DOI:10.3970/cmes.2012.088.049

Abstract Recently, global warming issues have been discussed all over the world. Of the total amount of CO2 emitted in Japan, a transportation sector is responsible for 20%. In the transportation sector, 90% of the emission is due to road traffic. This amount must be reduced drastically to realize a low-carbon society. To do so, various measures have been discussed, and the effects of the measures must be estimated quantitatively. In conventional measurement methods, the amount of vehicle emission is simply calculated by multiplying travel distance or gasoline consumption by a specified emission coefficient. Such an approach neglects the effects of… More >

Investigation of Inherent Deformation in Fillet Welded Thin Plate T-joints Based on Interactive Substructure and Inverse Analysis Method

    Rui Wang1, Jianxun Zhang1, Hisashi Serizawa2, Hidekazu Murakawa2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.44, No.1, pp. 97-114, 2009, DOI:10.3970/cmes.2009.044.097

Abstract In this paper, the inherent deformation of fillet welded thin plate T-joints is studied. The prediction procedure of inherent deformation consists of three parts: part one, a three dimensional (3D) thermo-elastic-plastic analysis using an in house finite element (FE) code of interactive substructure method (ISM) is utilized to obtain the welding distortions; part two, corresponding experiments are carried out to verify the computational results of ISM; part three, using the verified computational results, the inverse analysis is utilized to evaluate the welding inherent deformation. Based on the results in this study, an inherent deformations database of fillet welded thin plate… More >

Natural Language Semantic Construction Based on Cloud Database

    Suzhen Wang1, Lu Zhang1, Yanpiao Zhang1, Jieli Sun1, Chaoyi Pang2, Gang Tian3, Ning Cao4,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.57, No.3, pp. 603-619, 2018, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2018.03884

Abstract Natural language semantic construction improves natural language comprehension ability and analytical skills of the machine. It is the basis for realizing the information exchange in the intelligent cloud-computing environment. This paper proposes a natural language semantic construction method based on cloud database, mainly including two parts: natural language cloud database construction and natural language semantic construction. Natural Language cloud database is established on the CloudStack cloud-computing environment, which is composed by corpus, thesaurus, word vector library and ontology knowledge base. In this section, we concentrate on the pretreatment of corpus and the presentation of background knowledge ontology, and then put… More >
