    A Hybrid Machine Learning and Fractional-Order Dynamical Framework for Multi-Scale Prediction of Breast Cancer Progression

    Abstract Breast cancer’s heterogeneous progression demands innovative tools for accurate prediction. We present a hybrid framework that integrates machine learning (ML) and fractional-order dynamics to predict tumor growth across diagnostic and temporal scales. On the Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer dataset, seven ML algorithms were evaluated, with deep neural networks (DNNs) achieving the highest accuracy (97.72%). Key morphological features (area, radius, texture, and concavity) were identified as top malignancy predictors, aligning with clinical intuition. Beyond static classification, we developed a fractional-order dynamical model using Caputo derivatives to capture memory-driven tumor progression.     Abstract The pathogenesis of insulin resistance is influenced by environmental factors, genetic predispositions, and several medications. Various drugs used to manage multiple ailments have been shown to induce insulin resistance, which could lead to Type II Diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Central to drug-induced insulin resistance is mitochondrial dysfunction. Amongst disturbed pathways in drug-induced mitochondrial toxicity is mitophagy, a process that removes dysfunctional mitochondria through the lysosomal pathways to maintain mitochondrial quality.     Abstract The objective of this work is to investigate the dynamics of a self-propelled undulating sheet in a non-Newtonian electrolyte solution inside a wavy channel under the electroosmotic effect. The electrolyte solution, which is non-Newtonian, is modeled as a Carreau-Yasuda fluid. The flow generated by a combination of an undulating sheet and electroosmotic effect is obtained by solving the continuity and momentum equations.
