    Abstract The cell cycle is a conserved process from yeast to mammals and focuses on mechanisms that regulate the timing and frequency of DNA replication and cell division. The temporal and spatial expression of the genes is tightly regulated to ensure accurate replication and transmission of DNA to daughter cells during the cycle.
