    Abstract Concomitant acute epidural hematoma (EDH) and subdural hematoma (SDH) is a rare finding, and its bilateral onset has not yet been reported in literature. We present the first report of a patient affected by post-traumatic concomitant EDH and SDH, with the contralateral, delayed onset of another, associated with meningioma previously treated with gamma knife.     Abstract Spinal cord injury (SCI) remains an intractable clinical challenge of neurosurgery, it can be divided into two stages: uncontrollable primary injury induced by mechanical damage and controllable secondary injury regulated by continuous cell death. The apoptosis was the one of most important events in secondary injury, previous studies revealed that excessive endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress breaks down the homeostasis and triggers apoptosis in the spinal cord.     Abstract Metastatic spread of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to the spleen is uncommon, only occurring in approximately 1% of cases. Atraumatic splenic rupture due to HCC metastasis is extremely rare and affects patient prognosis, clinical management, and mortality. We report a case of a 65-year-old man with a history of chronic hepatitis B infection who presented with left-sided abdominal pain and fatigue.
