    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.65, No.1, pp. 543-561, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011108

Abstract Time series classification (TSC) has attracted various attention in the community of machine learning and data mining and has many successful applications such as fault detection and product identification in the process of building a smart factory. However, it is still challenging for the efficiency and accuracy of classification due to complexity, multi-dimension of time series. This paper presents a new approach for time series classification based on convolutional neural networks (CNN). The proposed method contains three parts: short-time gap feature extraction, multi-scale local feature learning, and global feature learning. In the process of short-time gap feature extraction, large kernel… More >

    Kun Fang1, 2, Jianquan Ouyang1, *

    Journal on Artificial Intelligence, Vol.2, No.1, pp. 1-15, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jai.2020.09738

Abstract Generating an Adversarial network (GAN) has shown great development prospects in image generation and semi-supervised learning and has evolved into TripleGAN. However, there are still two problems that need to be solved in Triple-GAN: based on the KL divergence distribution structure, gradients are easy to disappear and training instability occurs. Since Triple-GAN tags the samples manually, the manual marking workload is too large. Marked uneven and so on. This article builds on this improved Triple-GAN model (Improved Triple-GAN), which uses Random Forests to classify real samples, automate tagging of leaf nodes, and use Least Squares Generative Adversarial Networks (LSGAN) ideological… More >

Abstract As a real-time and authoritative source, the official Web pages of organizations contain a large amount of information. The diversity of Web content and format makes it essential for pre-processing to get the unified attributed data, which has the value of organizational analysis and mining. The existing research on dealing with multiple Web scenarios and accuracy performance is insufficient. This paper aims to propose a method to transform organizational official Web pages into the data with attributes. After locating the active blocks in the Web pages, the structural and content features are proposed to classify information with the specific model.… More >

Improving Chinese Word Representation with Conceptual Semantics

    Tingxin Wei1, 2, Weiguang Qu2, 3, *, Junsheng Zhou3, Yunfei Long4, Yanhui Gu3, Zhentao Xia3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.64, No.3, pp. 1897-1913, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.010813

Abstract The meaning of a word includes a conceptual meaning and a distributive meaning. Word embedding based on distribution suffers from insufficient conceptual semantic representation caused by data sparsity, especially for low-frequency words. In knowledge bases, manually annotated semantic knowledge is stable and the essential attributes of words are accurately denoted. In this paper, we propose a Conceptual Semantics Enhanced Word Representation (CEWR) model, computing the synset embedding and hypernym embedding of Chinese words based on the Tongyici Cilin thesaurus, and aggregating it with distributed word representation to have both distributed information and the conceptual meaning encoded in the representation of… More >

ECG Classification Using Deep CNN Improved by Wavelet Transform

    Yunxiang Zhao1, Jinyong Cheng1, *, Ping Zhang1, Xueping Peng2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.64, No.3, pp. 1615-1628, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.09938

Abstract Atrial fibrillation is the most common persistent form of arrhythmia. A method based on wavelet transform combined with deep convolutional neural network is applied for automatic classification of electrocardiograms. Since the ECG signal is easily inferred, the ECG signal is decomposed into 9 kinds of subsignals with different frequency scales by wavelet function, and then wavelet reconstruction is carried out after segmented filtering to eliminate the influence of noise. A 24-layer convolution neural network is used to extract the hierarchical features by convolution kernels of different sizes, and finally the softmax classifier is used to classify them. This paper applies… More >

A Network Traffic Classification Model Based on Metric Learning

    Mo Chen1, Xiaojuan Wang1, *, Mingshu He1, Lei Jin1, Khalid Javeed2, Xiaojun Wang3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.64, No.2, pp. 941-959, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.09802

Abstract Attacks on websites and network servers are among the most critical threats in network security. Network behavior identification is one of the most effective ways to identify malicious network intrusions. Analyzing abnormal network traffic patterns and traffic classification based on labeled network traffic data are among the most effective approaches for network behavior identification. Traditional methods for network traffic classification utilize algorithms such as Naive Bayes, Decision Tree and XGBoost. However, network traffic classification, which is required for network behavior identification, generally suffers from the problem of low accuracy even with the recently proposed deep learning models. To improve network… More >

Modeling Multi-Targets Sentiment Classification via Graph Convolutional Networks and Auxiliary Relation

    Ao Feng1, Zhengjie Gao1, *, Xinyu Song1, Ke Ke2, Tianhao Xu1, Xuelei Zhang1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.64, No.2, pp. 909-923, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.09913

Abstract Existing solutions do not work well when multi-targets coexist in a sentence. The reason is that the existing solution is usually to separate multiple targets and process them separately. If the original sentence has N target, the original sentence will be repeated for N times, and only one target will be processed each time. To some extent, this approach degenerates the fine-grained sentiment classification task into the sentencelevel sentiment classification task, and the research method of processing the target separately ignores the internal relation and interaction between the targets. Based on the above considerations, we proposes to use Graph Convolutional… More >

Abstract The recycling of glass bottles can reduce the consumption of resources and contribute to environmental protection. At present, the classification of recycled glass bottles is difficult due to the many differences in specifications and models. This paper proposes a classification algorithm for glass bottles that is divided into two stages, namely the extraction of candidate regions and the classification of classifiers. In the candidate region extraction stage, aiming at the problem of the large time overhead caused by the use of the SIFT (scale-invariant feature transform) descriptor in SS (selective search), an improved feature of HLSN (Haar-like based on SPP-Net)… More >
