Development and Application of a Production Data Analysis Model for a Shale Gas Production Well

    Dongkwon Han, Sunil Kwon*

    FDMP-Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing, Vol.16, No.3, pp. 411-424, 2020, DOI:10.32604/fdmp.2020.08388

Abstract This paper presents the development and application of a production data analysis software that can analyze and forecast the production performance and reservoir properties of shale gas wells. The theories used in the study were based on the analytical and empirical approaches. Its reliability has been con- firmed through comparisons with a commercial software. Using transient data relating to multi-stage hydraulic fractured horizontal wells, it was confirmed that the accuracy of the modified hyperbolic method showed an error of approximately 4% compared to the actual estimated ultimate recovery (EUR). On the basis of the developed model, reliable productivity forecasts have… More >

    Yue Cai1, Zeying Song1, Guang Sun1, *, Jing Wang1, Ziyi Guo1, Yi Zuo1, Xiaoping Fan1, Jianjun Zhang2, Lin Lang1

    Journal on Big Data, Vol.1, No.3, pp. 135-144, 2019, DOI:10.32604/jbd.2019.08274

Abstract Big data technology is changing with each passing day, generating massive amounts of data every day. These data have large capacity, many types, fast growth, and valuable features. The same is true for the stock investment market. The growth of the amount of stock data generated every day is difficult to predict. The price trend in the stock market is uncertain, and the valuable information hidden in the stock data is difficult to detect. For example, the price trend of stocks, profit trends, how to make a reasonable speculation on the price trend of stocks and profit trends is a… More >

Contour-Based Data Analysis: Loading Rate Dependence in Dynamic Catch of Integrin-Ligand Bonds

    Xueyi Yang1, Yue Xu1, Chun Yang1,*

    Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics, Vol.16, Suppl.2, pp. 101-101, 2019, DOI:10.32604/mcb.2019.07117

Abstract Cell-matrix interactions guide various cell behaviors, including proliferation, differentiation, migration, etc. Integrins, as a known transmembrane mechanosensor, undergo conformational changes in response to mechanical stimuli, and manipulate cell-matrix chemical-mechanical coupled signaling transduction [1]. The integrin-ligand bond kinetics has gain increasing attention among researchers. Independent studies showed that the integrin-ligand bond has been reported to be reinforced by the applied force f, while the loading rate df/dt had little effect on the bond lifetime [2].
We previously observed a dramatic increase in bond lifetime beyond a loading rate threshold for the integrin α2β1-DGEA bond, by introducing AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy)… More >

Research on the Association of Mobile Social Network Users Privacy Information Based on Big Data Analysis

    Pingshui Wang1,*, Zecheng Wang1, Qinjuan Ma1

Journal of Information Hiding and Privacy Protection, Vol.1, No.1, pp. 35-42, 2019, DOI:10.32604/jihpp.2019.05942

Abstract The issue of privacy protection for mobile social networks is a frontier topic in the field of social network applications. The existing researches on user privacy protection in mobile social network mainly focus on privacy preserving data publishing and access control. There is little research on the association of user privacy information, so it is not easy to design personalized privacy protection strategy, but also increase the complexity of user privacy settings. Therefore, this paper concentrates on the association of user privacy information taking big data analysis tools, so as to provide data support for personalized privacy protection strategy design. An Auto-Calibration Approach to Robust and Secure Usage of Accelerometers for Human Motion Analysis in FES Therapies

    Mingxu Sun1,#,*, Yinghang Jiang2,3,#, Qi Liu3,4,*, Xiaodong Liu4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.60, No.1, pp. 67-83, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.06079

Abstract A Functional Electrical stimulation (FES) therapy is a common rehabilitation intervention after stroke, and finite state machine (FSM) has proven to be an effective and intuitive FES control method. The FSM uses the data information generated by the accelerometer to robustly trigger state transitions. In the medical field, it is necessary to obtain highly safe and accurate acceleration data. In order to ensure the accuracy of the acceleration sensor data without affecting the accuracy of the motion analysis, we need to perform acceleration big data calibration. In this context, we propose a method for robustly calculating the auto-calibration gain using… More >

    Ning Cao1,2, Shengfang Li1, Keyong Shen1, Sheng Bin3, Gengxin Sun3,*, Dongjie Zhu4, Xiuli Han5, Guangsheng Cao5, Abraham Campbell6

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.1, pp. 227-241, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.06125

Abstract Monitoring, understanding and predicting Origin-destination (OD) flows in a city is an important problem for city planning and human activity. Taxi-GPS traces, acted as one kind of typical crowd sensed data, it can be used to mine the semantics of OD flows. In this paper, we firstly construct and analyze a complex network of OD flows based on large-scale GPS taxi traces of a city in China. The spatiotemporal analysis for the OD flows complex network showed that there were distinctive patterns in OD flows. Then based on a novel complex network model, a semantics mining method of OD flows… More >

Forecasting Model Based on Information-Granulated GA-SVR and ARIMA for Producer Price Index

    Xiangyan Tang1,2, Liang Wang3, Jieren Cheng1,2,4,*, Jing Chen2, Victor S. Sheng5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.58, No.2, pp. 463-491, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.03816

Abstract The accuracy of predicting the Producer Price Index (PPI) plays an indispensable role in government economic work. However, it is difficult to forecast the PPI. In our research, we first propose an unprecedented hybrid model based on fuzzy information granulation that integrates the GA-SVR and ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model) models. The fuzzy-information-granulation-based GA-SVR-ARIMA hybrid model is intended to deal with the problem of imprecision in PPI estimation. The proposed model adopts the fuzzy information-granulation algorithm to pre-classification-process monthly training samples of the PPI, and produced three different sequences of fuzzy information granules, whose Support Vector Regression (SVR) machine… More >

    Xiaodong Liu1, Qi Liu1,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.57, No.2, pp. 179-194, 2018, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2018.04025

Abstract In a home energy management system (HEMS), appliances are becoming diversified and intelligent, so that certain simple maintenance work can be completed by appliances themselves. During the measurement, collection and transmission of electricity load data in a HEMS sensor network, however, problems can be caused on the data due to faulty sensing processes and/or lost links, etc. In order to ensure the quality of retrieved load data, different solutions have been presented, but suffered from low recognition rates and high complexity. In this paper, a validation and repair method is presented to detect potential failures and errors in a domestic… More >
