Abstract Background: The assessment of Fontan circuit’s flow is traditionally evaluated by multiple through-plane phase-contrast MRI acquisitions (2D flow), while recently, a single volumetric 4D-flow MRI acquisition is emerging as a comprehensive tool for the hemodynamic evaluation in congenital heart diseases. Purpose: To compare 2D and 4D-flow MRI measurements in patients after Fontan palliation and to evaluate parameters affecting potential disagreement. Methods: 39 patients after Fontan palliation (23 males, age 22 ± 11 years) who underwent cardiac MRI with 2D and 4D-flow MRI acquisition were included in the study. In all patients, blood flow quantification in the Fontan circuit and aorta… More > Graphic Abstract

    Congenital Heart Disease, Vol.17, No.6, pp. 605-615, 2022, DOI:10.32604/chd.2022.023969

Abstract Background: Coarctation of the aorta (CoA) is associated with a generalized arteriopathy and long-term complications despite repair. Data on invasive exercise hemodynamics in this population are lacking. Accordingly, we reviewed adults with CoA undergoing exercise catheterization to assess 1. hemodynamic profile; 2. feasibility for assessment of CoA severity. Methods: Twenty patients undergoing exercise cardiac catheterization (12 arm adduction and 8 supine cycle ergometry) at a quaternary care center between 2004 and 2021 were identified. Resting and exercise hemodynamic data were abstracted from the procedure logs. Results: Mean age was 43.6 ± 12.0 years. Eleven patients (55%) had resting pulmonary arterial wedge pressure… More >

Dynamic Pricing Model of E-Commerce Platforms Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning

    Chunli Yin1,*, Jinglong Han2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.127, No.1, pp. 291-307, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2021.014347

Abstract With the continuous development of artificial intelligence technology, its application field has gradually expanded. To further apply the deep reinforcement learning technology to the field of dynamic pricing, we build an intelligent dynamic pricing system, introduce the reinforcement learning technology related to dynamic pricing, and introduce existing research on the number of suppliers (single supplier and multiple suppliers), environmental models, and selection algorithms. A two-period dynamic pricing game model is designed to assess the optimal pricing strategy for e-commerce platforms under two market conditions and two consumer participation conditions. The first step is to analyze the pricing strategies of e-commerce… More >
