    Immunocytochemical examination of PTEN and Ki-67 for endometrial carcinoma using thin-layer endometrial preparations

    Abstract The current study is designed to evaluate certain immunocytochemical (ICC) biomarkers to gain a better cytodiagnosis. For this purpose, 85 patients from March 2016 to March 2019 who planned to get a hysteroscopy assay were recruited.     Abstract The pathological examination of ocular tumors has specificities in terms of macroscopic management, microscopic analysis, and molecular examinations requiring special attention. We discuss here the difficulties encountered in the reception in the pathological anatomy laboratory of conjunctival samples, enucleation and orbital exenteration pieces, then detail the diagnostic and theranostic, microscopic and molecular characteristics of ocular tumor pathologies. Conjunctival tumors (epithelial, melanocytic and lymphoid), choroidal tumors (including uveal melanoma) and retinoblastoma are treated. Because of their low frequency and their features, these tumors should be the subject of anatomo-clinical discussions.

    Abstract University timetable scheduling is a complicated constraint problem because educational institutions use timetables to maximize and optimize scarce resources, such as time and space. In this paper, an examination timetable system using Genetic Algorithm and Tabu Search memory with course sandwiching (GAT_CS), was developed for a large public University. The concept of Genetic Algorithm with Selection and Evaluation was implemented while the memory properties of Tabu Search and course sandwiching replaced Crossover and Mutation.     Abstract Objective: When imaging the lower airway by MRI, the traditional technique turbo spin echo (TSE) results in high quality 2D images, however planning and acquisition times are lengthy. An alternative, delayed volume interpolated breath-holds examination (VIBE), is a 3D gradient echo technique that produces high spatial resolution imaging of the airway in one breath-hold.     Abstract This article assesses the performance of a biobased carbon as a nucleator using common techniques to stimulate poly(lactic acid) crystallization and enhance the thermal stability of PLA during injection molding. The combination of a biodegradable plasticizer, poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), along with biobased carbon-rich pyrolyzed biomass char residue and an industrially available microcrystalline talc, were tested for nucleating agent capabilities at additions of 10 wt%. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) data demonstrated that the inclusion of the plasticizer could increase the PLA crystalline content with further improvements when nucleating agent was present.     Abstract Camptothecin and its derivatives are monoterpenoid indole alkaloids exhibiting significant anti-tumor actions. With the aim of improving the production of these pharmaceuticals, the contents of camptothecin and 10-hydroxycamptothecin in different tissues including roots, stems, leaves, young flower buds, opening flowers, fading flowers and seeds from Camptotheca acuminata, were investigated. The young flower buds had the highest alkaloid concentrations (camptothecin, 2.46 mg/g of dry weight; 10- hydroxycamptothecin, 1.41 mg/g of dry weight).     Abstract The initiation and development of organogenic buds and somatic embryos in HBsAg-transgenic cherry tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum var. cerasiforme) mutant were studied histologically. The leaf explants of the mutant were cultured on Murashige & Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with 6-BA 1.0 mg/L and IAA 0.05 mg/L for callus induction.
