Situation Awareness Data Fusion Method Based on Library Events

    Haixu Xi1,2, Wei Gao2,*, Gyun Yeol Park3

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.42, No.3, pp. 1047-1061, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.022051

Abstract Microelectronic technology and communication technology are developed in deep manner; the computing mode has been transferred from traditional computer-centered to human centered pervasive. So, the concept of Internet of things (IoT) is gradually put forward, which allows people to access information about their surroundings on demand through different terminals. The library is the major public space for human to read and learn. How to provide a more comfortable library environment to better meet people’s learning requirements is a place where the Internet of things plays its role. The purpose of this paper is to solve the difference between the data… More >

COVID19 Classification Using CT Images via Ensembles of Deep Learning Models

    Abdul Majid1, Muhammad Attique Khan1, Yunyoung Nam2,*, Usman Tariq3, Sudipta Roy4, Reham R. Mostafa5, Rasha H. Sakr6

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.1, pp. 319-337, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.016816

Abstract The recent COVID-19 pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has had a significant impact on human life and the economy around the world. A reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test is used to screen for this disease, but its low sensitivity means that it is not sufficient for early detection and treatment. As RT-PCR is a time-consuming procedure, there is interest in the introduction of automated techniques for diagnosis. Deep learning has a key role to play in the field of medical imaging. The most important issue in this area is the… More >

A Bayesian Updating Method for Non-Probabilistic Reliability Assessment of Structures with Performance Test Data

    Jiaqi He1, Yangjun Luo1,2,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.125, No.2, pp. 777-800, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2020.010688

Abstract For structures that only the predicted bounds of uncertainties are available, this study proposes a Bayesian method to logically evaluate the nonprobabilistic reliability of structures based on multi-ellipsoid convex model and performance test data. According to the given interval ranges of uncertainties, we determine the initial characteristic parameters of a multi-ellipsoid convex set. Moreover, to update the plausibility of characteristic parameters, a Bayesian network for the information fusion of prior uncertainty knowledge and subsequent performance test data is constructed. Then, an updated multi-ellipsoid set with the maximum likelihood of the performance test data can be achieved. The credible non-probabilistic reliability… More >

A DDoS Attack Information Fusion Method Based on CNN for Multi-Element Data

    Jieren Cheng1, 2, Canting Cai1, *, Xiangyan Tang1, Victor S. Sheng3, Wei Guo1, Mengyang Li1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.63, No.1, pp. 131-150, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.06175

Abstract Traditional distributed denial of service (DDoS) detection methods need a lot of computing resource, and many of them which are based on single element have high missing rate and false alarm rate. In order to solve the problems, this paper proposes a DDoS attack information fusion method based on CNN for multi-element data. Firstly, according to the distribution, concentration and high traffic abruptness of DDoS attacks, this paper defines six features which are respectively obtained from the elements of source IP address, destination IP address, source port, destination port, packet size and the number of IP packets. Then, we propose… More >

XML-Based Information Fusion Architecture Based on Cloud Computing Ecosystem

    I-Ching Hsu1,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.3, pp. 929-950, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.07876

Abstract Considering cloud computing from an organizational and end user computing point of view, it is a new paradigm for deploying, managing and offering services through a shared infrastructure. Current development of cloud computing applications, however, are the lack of a uniformly approach to cope with the heterogeneous information fusion. This leads cloud computing to inefficient development and a low potential reuse. This study addresses these issues to propose a novel Web 2.0 Mashups as a Service, called WMaaS, which is a fundamental cloud service model. The WMaaS is developed based on a XML-based Mashups Architecture (XMA) that is composed of… More >

An Evidence Combination Method based on DBSCAN Clustering

    Kehua Yang1,2,*, Tian Tan1, Wei Zhang1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.57, No.2, pp. 269-281, 2018, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2018.03696

Abstract Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory is a key technology for integrating uncertain information from multiple sources. However, the combination rules can be paradoxical when the evidence seriously conflict with each other. In the paper, we propose a novel combination algorithm based on unsupervised Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) density clustering. In the proposed mechanism, firstly, the original evidence sets are preprocessed by DBSCAN density clustering, and a successfully focal element similarity criteria is used to mine the potential information between the evidence, and make a correct measure of the conflict evidence. Then, two different discount factors are adopted… More >
