    Fault Tolerant Optical Mark Recognition

    Qamar Hafeez1, Waqar Aslam1, M. Ikramullah Lali2, Shafiq Ahmad3, Mejdal Alqahtani3, Muhammad Shafiq4,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.2, pp. 3829-3847, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.026422

Abstract Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) systems have been studied since 1970. It is widely accepted as a data entry technique. OMR technology is used for surveys and multiple-choice questionnaires. Due to its ease of use, OMR technology has grown in popularity over the past two decades and is widely used in universities and colleges to automatically grade and grade student responses to questionnaires. The accuracy of OMR systems is very important due to the environment in which they are used. The OMR algorithm relies on pixel projection or Hough transform to determine the exact answer in the document. These techniques rely… More >

High Efficiency Crypto-Watermarking System Based on Clifford-Multiwavelet for 3D Meshes Security

    Wajdi Elhamzi1,2,*, Malika Jallouli3, Yassine Bouteraa1,4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 4329-4347, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.030954

Abstract Since 3D mesh security has become intellectual property, 3D watermarking algorithms have continued to appear to secure 3D meshes shared by remote users and saved in distant multimedia databases. The novelty of our approach is that it uses a new Clifford-multiwavelet transform to insert copyright data in a multiresolution domain, allowing us to greatly expand the size of the watermark. After that, our method does two rounds of insertion, each applying a different type of Clifford-wavelet transform. Before being placed into the Clifford-multiwavelet coefficients, the watermark, which is a mixture of the mesh description, source mesh signature (produced using SHA512),… More >

Single-Choice Aided Marking System Research Based on Back Propagation Neural Network

Yunzuo Zhang*, Yi Li, Wei Guo, Lei Huo, Jiayu Zhang, Kaina Guo

    Journal of Cyber Security, Vol.3, No.1, pp. 45-54, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jcs.2021.017071

Abstract In the field of educational examination, automatic marking technology plays an essential role in improving the efficiency of marking and liberating the labor force. At present, the implementation of the policy of expanding erolments has caused a serious decline in the teacher-student ratio in colleges and universities. The traditional marking system based on Optical Mark Reader technology can no longer meet the requirements of liberating the labor force of teachers in small and medium-sized examinations. With the development of image processing and artificial neural network technology, the recognition of handwritten character in the field of pattern recognition has attracted the… More >
