    J. Shanthini1, P. Punitha2,*, S. Karthik2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.3, pp. 2619-2636, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.027330

Abstract In today's Internet routing infrastructure, designers have addressed scaling concerns in routing constrained multiobjective optimization problems examining latency and mobility concerns as a secondary constrain. In tactical Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET), hubs can function based on the work plan in various social affairs and the internally connected hubs are almost having the related moving standards where the topology between one and the other are tightly coupled in steady support by considering the touchstone of hubs such as a self-sorted out, self-mending and self-administration. Clustering in the routing process is one of the key aspects to… More >

    Oncology Research, Vol.27, No.2, pp. 227-235, 2019, DOI:10.3727/096504018X15213089759999

Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been reported to be involved in many human cancers and tumor progression. The dysregulation of miR-449a is found in many types of malignancies and is associated with tumor growth, migration, and invasion. However, its expression and function in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) still remains unclear. In our study, miR-449a was found to be downregulated in both NSCLC tissues and cell lines, and low miR-449a expression was obviously associated with tumor differentiation, TMN stage, and poor overall survival (OS). Moreover, we demonstrated that miR-449a could inhibit tumor proliferation, migration, and invasion in More >

Abstract S100A11, a member of the S100 family of proteins, is actively secreted from pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells. However, the role of the extracellular S100A11 in PDAC progression remains unclear. In the present study, we investigated the extracellular role of S100A11 in crosstalking between PDAC cells and surrounding fibroblasts in PDAC progression. An abundant S100A11 secreted from pancreatic cancer cells stimulated neighboring fibroblasts through receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) upon S100A11 binding and was followed by not only an enhanced cancer cell motility in vitro but also an increased number of the PDAC-derived… More >

Abstract Fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks offer high transmission rates in dense urban environments. However, a massive deployment of small cells will be required to provide wide-area coverage, which leads to an increase in the number of handovers (HOs). Mobility management is an important issue that requires considerable attention in heterogeneous networks, where 5G ultra-dense small cells coexist with current fourth-generation (4G) networks. Although mobility robustness optimization (MRO) and load balancing optimization (LBO) functions have been introduced in the 3GPP standard to address HO problems, non-robust and nonoptimal algorithms for selecting appropriate HO control parameters (HCPs) still… More >
