    Lixia Niu1,*, Ying Liu1, Jie Liu2, Rui Zhao1

    International Journal of Mental Health Promotion, Vol.24, No.4, pp. 527-538, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ijmhp.2022.017484

Abstract To clarify the mechanism of blocking-stressors, psychological contracts, and negative emotions on post-90s employees’ occupational mobility, based on the literature study, a hypothetical model of the relationship was established. Using the blocking-stressor, psychological contract, negative emotion, and occupational mobility scales, 317 post-90s employees were selected to investigate their status. It used correlation analysis and intermediary effect tests to verify the hypothesis model. The results showed that: first, there were significant positive correlations between blocking-stressors, negative emotions, and occupational mobility, while indicating a significant negative correlation with the psychological contract; second, blocking-stressors can directly and significantly predict occupational mobility; and third,… More >

    B. Gomathi1, S. T. Suganthi2,*, T. N. Prabhu3, Andriy Kovalenko4

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.3, pp. 1851-1860, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.026779

Abstract On the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) devices, offloading data is the major problem because massive amounts of data generate energy consumption, and the execution cost is high. At present, accidents traffic management is highly prominent due to increased vehicles among the population. IoV is the only technology to help the transport system effectively. This data outreach the memory also has high energy consumption, and the storage cost is high. To overcome these issues, a Mobility aware Offloading scheme with Multi-Objective Immune Optimization algorithm (MOS-MOIO) is used in the cloud storage. The data is generated from the online sensor system. The… More >

    Abdulraqeb Alhammadi1,*, Wan Haslina Hassan1, Ayman A. El-Saleh2, Ibraheem Shayea3, Hafizal Mohamad4, Yousef Ibrahim Daradkeh5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.3, pp. 5215-5232, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.024713

Abstract Fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks offer high transmission rates in dense urban environments. However, a massive deployment of small cells will be required to provide wide-area coverage, which leads to an increase in the number of handovers (HOs). Mobility management is an important issue that requires considerable attention in heterogeneous networks, where 5G ultra-dense small cells coexist with current fourth-generation (4G) networks. Although mobility robustness optimization (MRO) and load balancing optimization (LBO) functions have been introduced in the 3GPP standard to address HO problems, non-robust and nonoptimal algorithms for selecting appropriate HO control parameters (HCPs) still exist, and an optimal solution… More >

    D. Kothandaraman1,*, M. Manickam2, A. Balasundaram3, D. Pradeep4, A. Arulmurugan5, Arun Kumar Sivaraman6, Sita Rani7, Barnali Dey8, R. Balakrishna9

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.1, pp. 655-666, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.024134

Abstract This work implements a Decentralized Links Failure Prevention (DLFP) routing algorithm to promote enhanced and efficient Internet of Things (IoT). The work increases the mobility as well as an opportunity for loss of IoT node meeting links due to both mobility and blockers/interferers. The proposed algorithm overcomes loss issues as well as works in dynamically allocating alternate route from other IoT nodes available in near and selecting for efficient route in the network. When the link fails, bandwidth is reduced and coverage area problems for packets sending from source to destination is managed. The proposed algorithm works with light-weight wireless… More >

Dynamic Vehicular Clustering Enhancing Video on Demand Services Over Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks

    M. Almutiq1, L. Sellami1,2,*, B. Alaya1,3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.2, pp. 3493-3510, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.024571

Abstract Nowadays, video streaming applications are becoming one of the tendencies driving vehicular network users. In this work, considering the unpredictable vehicle density, the unexpected acceleration or deceleration of the different vehicles included in the vehicular traffic load, and the limited radio range of the employed communication scheme, we introduce the “Dynamic Vehicular Clustering” (DVC) algorithm as a new scheme for video streaming systems over vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET). The proposed algorithm takes advantage of the small cells concept and the introduction of wireless backhauls, inspired by the different features and the performance of the Long Term Evolution (LTE)-Advanced network. A Study on the Effect of Core Strength Strengthening Training on Exercise-Induced Lumbar Injuries

    Xianghui Li*

    Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics, Vol.19, No.2, pp. 105-114, 2022, DOI:10.32604/mcb.2022.018736

Abstract Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of core strength strengthening training on exercise-induced lumbar injuries. Methods: Sixteen athletes suffering from lumbar injuries were randomly divided into two groups, group A and group B. Group A performed core strength strengthening training, while group B only performed normal study and life. Before and after the experiment, the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score, lumbar spine mobility, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and overall effect evaluation of the two groups were recorded and compared. Results: After the experiment, the VAS score of group A decreased to 2.78 ± 1.89 points, the anterior flexion… More >

Abstract Herbal components characterization represents a challenging task because of the co-existing of multiple classes of naturally occurring compounds with wide spans of polarity, molecular mass, and the ubiquitous isomerism. The root and rhizome of Salvia miltiorrhiza have been utilized as a reputable traditional Chinese medicine Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Dan-Shen) in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. Herein, a dimension-enhanced ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/ion mobility/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry approach in combination with intelligent peak annotation workflows was established aimed to rapidly characterize the multicomponents from S. miltiorrhiza. Due to the sufficient optimization, satisfactory chromatography separation was enabled on an HSS… More >

    Chafaa Hamrouni1,*, Slim Chaoui2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.71, No.3, pp. 4941-4953, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.023732

Abstract In the paper, we propose a fuzzy logic controller system to be implemented for smart mobility management in the 5G wireless communication network. Mobility management is considered as a main issue for all-IP mobile networks future generation. As a network-based mobility management protocol, Internet Engineering Task Force developed the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) in order to support the mobility of IP devices, and many other results were presented to reduce latency handover and the amount of PMIPv6 signaling, but it is not enough for the application needs in real-time. The present paper describes an approach based on the IEEE 802.21… More >
