Domain-Aware Transformer for Multi-Domain Neural Machine Translation

    Shuangqing Song1, Yuan Chen2, Xuguang Hu1, Juwei Zhang1,3,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.86, No.3, 2026, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.072392 - 12 January 2026

Abstract In multi-domain neural machine translation tasks, the disparity in data distribution between domains poses significant challenges in distinguishing domain features and sharing parameters across domains. This paper proposes a Transformer-based multi-domain-aware mixture of experts model. To address the problem of domain feature differentiation, a mixture of experts (MoE) is introduced into attention to enhance the domain perception ability of the model, thereby improving the domain feature differentiation. To address the trade-off between domain feature distinction and cross-domain parameter sharing, we propose a domain-aware mixture of experts (DMoE). A domain-aware gating mechanism is introduced within the… More >

    Multi-Domain Network Intent Policy Enforcement

    Ana Hermosilla1,2,*, Pedro Martinez-Julia3, Diego R. Lopez4, Antonio F. Skarmeta1,2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.145, No.3, pp. 4279-4316, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2025.072607 - 23 December 2025

Abstract In this study, we analyzed the processes involved in the resolution and enforcement of multi-domain network intent policies for intent-based networking (IBN). Previous studies on IBN analyzed the basis of the network intent resolution processes. These processes produce the artifacts required by network intent policy enforcement. Thus, we continued such studies with the inclusion of network intent policy enforcement in the analysis, for which we constructed a model that predicts the accuracy of a multi-domain network intent policy enforcement system. We validated the model by designing a new multi-domain network intent policy enforcement system, and… More >

X-OODM: Leveraging Explainable Object-Oriented Design Methodology for Multi-Domain Sentiment Analysis

    Abqa Javed1, Muhammad Shoaib1,*, Abdul Jaleel2, Mohamed Deriche3, Sharjeel Nawaz4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.82, No.3, pp. 4977-4994, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.057359 - 06 March 2025

Abstract Incorporation of explainability features in the decision-making web-based systems is considered a primary concern to enhance accountability, transparency, and trust in the community. Multi-domain Sentiment Analysis is a significant web-based system where the explainability feature is essential for achieving user satisfaction. Conventional design methodologies such as object-oriented design methodology (OODM) have been proposed for web-based application development, which facilitates code reuse, quantification, and security at the design level. However, OODM did not provide the feature of explainability in web-based decision-making systems. X-OODM modifies the OODM with added explainable models to introduce the explainability feature for… More >

CoopAI-Route: DRL Empowered Multi-Agent Cooperative System for Efficient QoS-Aware Routing for Network Slicing in Multi-Domain SDN

Meignanamoorthi Dhandapani*, V. Vetriselvi, R. Aishwarya

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.140, No.3, pp. 2449-2486, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2024.050986 - 08 July 2024

Abstract The emergence of beyond 5G networks has the potential for seamless and intelligent connectivity on a global scale. Network slicing is crucial in delivering services for different, demanding vertical applications in this context. Next-generation applications have time-sensitive requirements and depend on the most efficient routing path to ensure packets reach their intended destinations. However, the existing IP (Internet Protocol) over a multi-domain network faces challenges in enforcing network slicing due to minimal collaboration and information sharing among network operators. Conventional inter-domain routing methods, like Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), cannot make routing decisions based on performance,… More >

Dynamic Routing of Multiple QoS-Required Flows in Cloud-Edge Autonomous Multi-Domain Data Center Networks

    Shiyan Zhang1,*, Ruohan Xu2, Zhangbo Xu3, Cenhua Yu1, Yuyang Jiang1, Yuting Zhao4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.78, No.2, pp. 2287-2308, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.046550 - 27 February 2024

Abstract The 6th generation mobile networks (6G) network is a kind of multi-network interconnection and multi-scenario coexistence network, where multiple network domains break the original fixed boundaries to form connections and convergence. In this paper, with the optimization objective of maximizing network utility while ensuring flows performance-centric weighted fairness, this paper designs a reinforcement learning-based cloud-edge autonomous multi-domain data center network architecture that achieves single-domain autonomy and multi-domain collaboration. Due to the conflict between the utility of different flows, the bandwidth fairness allocation problem for various types of flows is formulated by considering different defined reward… More >

Multi-Domain Malicious Behavior Knowledge Base Framework for Multi-Type DDoS Behavior Detection

Ouyang Liu, Kun Li*, Ziwei Yin, Deyun Gao, Huachun Zhou

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.3, pp. 2955-2977, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.039995 - 11 September 2023

Abstract Due to the many types of distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS) attacks and the large amount of data generated, it becomes a challenge to manage and apply the malicious behavior knowledge generated by DDoS attacks. We propose a malicious behavior knowledge base framework for DDoS attacks, which completes the construction and application of a multi-domain malicious behavior knowledge base. First, we collected malicious behavior traffic generated by five mainstream DDoS attacks. At the same time, we completed the knowledge collection mechanism through data pre-processing and dataset design. Then, we designed a malicious behavior category graph and… More >

Performance Evaluation of Topologies for Multi-Domain Software-Defined Networking

    Jiangyuan Yao1, Weiping Yang1, Shuhua Weng1, Minrui Wang1, Zheng Jiang2, Deshun Li1,*, Yahui Li3, Xingcan Cao4

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.47, No.1, pp. 741-755, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.031531 - 26 May 2023

Abstract Software-defined networking (SDN) is widely used in multiple types of data center networks, and these distributed data center networks can be integrated into a multi-domain SDN by utilizing multiple controllers. However, the network topology of each control domain of SDN will affect the performance of the multi-domain network, so performance evaluation is required before the deployment of the multi-domain SDN. Besides, there is a high cost to build real multi-domain SDN networks with different topologies, so it is necessary to use simulation testing methods to evaluate the topological performance of the multi-domain SDN network. Yu Miao1, Zhe Chen1, Qiao Wang1,2, Hongping Zhu1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.43, No.1, pp. 49-74, 2014, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2014.043.049

Abstract In this paper, an improved multi-domain model based on the hybrid boundary node method (Hybrid BNM) is proposed for mechanical analysis of 3D composites. The Hybrid BNM is a boundary type meshless method which based on the modified variational principle and the Moving Least Squares (MLS) approximation. The improved multi-domain model can reduce the total degrees of freedom (DOFs) compared with the conventional multi-domain solver. It is very suitable for the inclusion-based composites, especially for the composites when the inclusions are solid and totally embedded in the matrix domain. Numerical examples are presented to verify More >
