    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.3, pp. 3101-3124, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.040614

Abstract Aspect-based sentiment analysis aims to detect and classify the sentiment polarities as negative, positive, or neutral while associating them with their identified aspects from the corresponding context. In this regard, prior methodologies widely utilize either word embedding or tree-based representations. Meanwhile, the separate use of those deep features such as word embedding and tree-based dependencies has become a significant cause of information loss. Generally, word embedding preserves the syntactic and semantic relations between a couple of terms lying in a sentence. Besides, the tree-based structure conserves the grammatical and logical dependencies of context. In addition, the sentence-oriented word position describes… More >

Abstract Electro-hydraulic proportional valve is the core control valve in many hydraulic systems used in agricultural and engineering machinery. To address the problem related to the large throttling losses and poor stability typically associated with these valves, here, the beneficial effects of a triangular groove structure on the related hydraulic response are studied. A mathematical model of the pressure compensation system based on the power-bond graph method is introduced, and the AMESim software is used to simulate its response. The results show that the triangular groove structure increases the jet angle and effectively compensates for the hydrodynamic force. The steady-state differential… More > Graphic Abstract

Design of a Multichannel Dynamic Temperature Measurement System for Developing Thermal Management System of New Energy Vehicles

    Wei Li1, Shusheng Xiong2,*, Xiaojun Zhou1, Wei Shi3

    Energy Engineering, Vol.117, No.5, pp. 301-314, 2020, DOI:10.32604/EE.2020.011506

Abstract A multichannel temperature measurement system based on LabVIEW and modular instruments with general purpose input/output interface is described. External simple electronic components, such as analog switches arrays, sampling resistors and voltage reference are used to expand the analog input channel of the instrument. The interface circuit for 3-wire resistance temperature device powered by the voltage reference was designed and constructed. The feasibility of filtering algorithm based on moving average filter and the data conversion method by direct computation of the polynomial are verified in LabVIEW. A comparison test with the commercial temperature measurement instrument is conducted to test the same… More >

Statistical Inference of User Experience of Multichannel Audio on Mobile Phones

    Fesal Toosy1, *, Muhammad Sarwar Ehsan1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.65, No.2, pp. 1253-1270, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011667

Abstract Mobile phones and other handheld electronic devices are now ubiquitous and play an important role in our everyday lives. Over the last decade, we have seen a sharp rise in the sophistication of both hardware and software for these devices, thus significantly increasing their utility and use. Electronic devices are now commonly used for the streaming of audio and video and for the regular playback of music. Multichannel audio has now become a popular format and with recent updates in software, the latest audio codecs that support this format can effectively be played back on most electronic devices. As a… More >
