    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.9, No.3, pp. 179-208, 2009, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2009.009.179

Abstract The problem of identifying parameters of time invariant linear dynamical systems with fractional derivative damping models, based on a spatially incomplete set of measured frequency response functions and experimentally determined eigensolutions, is considered. Methods based on inverse sensitivity analysis of damped eigensolutions and frequency response functions are developed. It is shown that the eigensensitivity method requires the development of derivatives of solutions of an asymmetric generalized eigenvalue problem. Both the first and second order inverse sensitivity analyses are considered. The study demonstrates the successful performance of the identification algorithms developed based on synthetic data on one, two and a 33… More >

Abstract In view of the frequent fluctuation of garlic price under the market economy and the current situation of garlic price, the fluctuation of garlic price in the circulation link of garlic industry chain is analyzed, and the application mode of multidisciplinary in the agricultural industry is discussed. On the basis of the big data platform of garlic industry chain, this paper constructs a Garch model to analyze the fluctuation law of garlic price in the circulation link and provides the garlic industry service from the angle of price fluctuation combined with the economic analysis. The research shows that the average… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.58, No.2, pp. 463-491, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.03816

Abstract The accuracy of predicting the Producer Price Index (PPI) plays an indispensable role in government economic work. However, it is difficult to forecast the PPI. In our research, we first propose an unprecedented hybrid model based on fuzzy information granulation that integrates the GA-SVR and ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model) models. The fuzzy-information-granulation-based GA-SVR-ARIMA hybrid model is intended to deal with the problem of imprecision in PPI estimation. The proposed model adopts the fuzzy information-granulation algorithm to pre-classification-process monthly training samples of the PPI, and produced three different sequences of fuzzy information granules, whose Support Vector Regression (SVR) machine… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.58, No.1, pp. 183-195, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.03792

Abstract In order to solve the hidden regional relationship among garlic prices, this paper carries out spatial quantitative analysis of garlic price data based on ArcGIS technology. The specific analysis process is to collect prices of garlic market from 2015 to 2017 in different regions of Shandong Province, using the Moran's Index to obtain monthly Moran indicators are positive, so as to analyze the overall positive relationship between garlic prices; then using the geostatistical analysis tool in ArcGIS to draw a spatial distribution Grid diagram, it was found that the price of garlic has a significant geographical agglomeration phenomenon and showed… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.57, No.2, pp. 283-296, 2018, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2018.03791

Abstract Garlic prices fluctuate dramatically in recent years and it is very difficult to predict garlic prices. The autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model is currently the most important method for predicting garlic prices. However, the ARIMA model can only predict the linear part of the garlic prices, and cannot predict its nonlinear part. Therefore, it is urgent to adopt a method to analyze the nonlinear characteristics of garlic prices. After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several major prediction models which used to forecast nonlinear time series, using support vector machine (SVM) model to predict the nonlinear part of garlic… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.54, No.2, pp. 181-195, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2018.054.181

Abstract This communique is opted to study the approximate solution of the Algebraic Lyapunov equation on the manifold of positive-definite Hermitian matrices. We choose the geodesic distance between -AHX - XA and P as the cost function, and put forward the Extended Hamiltonian algorithm (EHA) and Natural gradient algorithm (NGA) for the solution. Finally, several numerical experiments give you an idea about the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms. We also show the comparison between these two algorithms EHA and NGA. Obtained results are provided and analyzed graphically. We also conclude that the extended Hamiltonian algorithm has better convergence speed than the… More >

    T. Tsangaris1, Y.–S. Smyrlis1, 2, A. Karageorghis1, 2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.1, No.3, pp. 245-258, 2004, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2004.001.245

Abstract The Method of Fundamental Solutions (MFS) is a boundary-type method for the solution of certain elliptic boundary value problems. In this work, we develop an efficient matrix decomposition MFS algorithm for the solution of biharmonic problems in annular domains. The circulant structure of the matrices involved in the MFS discretization is exploited by using Fast Fourier Transforms. The algorithm is tested numerically on several examples. More >
