    Abstract Sweet potato leaves are consumed globally for their nutritional and functional properties, with their taste characteristics significantly influencing their market value and consumer acceptance. However, the metabolic factors determining the taste of sweet potato leaves remain unclear. This study evaluated the taste and metabolic profile of sweet potato leaves cultivated in soil and hydroponic systems, revealing that hydroponic culture improved the taste of the leafy sweet potatoes.     Abstract Introduction: Five-alpha reductase (5-AR) deficiency was first identified by Imperato-McGinley and Walsh as the cause of pseudohermaphroditism in two separate studies. The discoveries led to the development of finasteride (inhibitor of type 2 isoenzyme of 5-AR) and dutasteride (inhibitor of type 1 and type 2 isoenzymes of 5-AR).
    Both drugs have been proven effective for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, improving voiding symptoms, reducing the risk of urinary retention, and decreasing the need for prostate surgery.

    Abstract Rice-Tartary buckwheat (RTB) is a special germplasm of Tartary buckwheat. In this study, the appraisal of taste quality between RTB and conventional Tartary buckwheat (CTB) was presented, and the metabolites in kernels at three typical grain filling stage (GFS) were investigated. Unlike CTB, RTB showed thin shell seeds without longitudinal furrows at maturity, which was easily artificially dehulled.     Abstract Introduction: Bicalutamide blocks androgen action in men with prostate cancer but has low affinity for the androgen receptor compared to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Dutasteride, a dual 5α-reductase inhibitor (5ARI), blocks the conversion of testosterone to DHT, reduces tumor volume and improves PSA in prostate cancer. Bicalutamide should be a more effective antiandrogen if it competes against intraprostatic testosterone, rather than DHT, for the androgen receptor. The Therapy Assessed by Rising PSA (TARP) study investigates dutasteride in combination with bicalutamide to prevent or delay disease progression in patients with castrate-refractory prostate cancer (CRPC) after initial androgen deprivation therapy.
