    Abstract It is known that eddy current effect has a great influence on magnetic flux leakage testing (MFL). Usually, contact-type encoder wheels are used to measure MFL testing speed to evaluate the effect and further compensate testing signals. This speed measurement method is complicated, and inevitable abrasion and occasional slippage will reduce the measurement accuracy.     Durability Testing of Composite Aerospace Materials Based on a New Polymer Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Epoxy Resin

    Abstract In this study, the durability of a new polymer carbon fiber-reinforced epoxy resin used to produce composite material in the aerospace field is investigated through analysis of the corrosion phenomena occurring at the microscopic scale, and the related infrared spectra and thermal properties. It is found that light and heat can contribute to the aging process.     Abstract Ram pumps employ renewable energy in the form of water head to pump water, but they have performance issues that require difficult on-site testing and tuning, hence limiting their application. The current research developed a low-cost lab-scale testing system for small ram pumps’ performance evaluation, tuning and leak testing. The developed system is made from available, low-cost, sensors and components. It conserves test water by setting the supply head through continuous circulation of water.
