    Liu Yangpeng1, Ding Jianjun1, Cao Jingshu2, Wang Zhen1, Jiang Zhuangde1

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 767-774, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000080

Abstract In the conventional measure process of crankshaft, the width of Abbe probe is designed as more than double the eccentricity volume of crank. This even causes the decline of test accuracy due to the probe distortion. This paper proposes a type of servo control mode for measuring crankshaft based on the four-axis motion system. Abbe probe is integrated with Axis motion system. It feeds in a servo way. A mathematical model is developed to ensure the stable contact between probe and workpiece during moving. The results show that, the narrowed Abbe probe will move according to the journal position, thus… More >

Storage-based Control Loop for AGC to Mitigate the Tie-lines Power Excursion between Areas

Shengqi Zhang, Bei Yuan, Jianfeng Zhao

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 745-753, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000078

Abstract With the current trend of deregulation, more power exchange between GENCOs and DISCOs in different areas exists in the power system. To mitigate the unscheduled power exchange meets the common interests of GENCOs and DISCOs, and avoids the power over-loading on tie-lines. However, in the current control performance standards (CPS), frequency deviations have priority in the conventional automatic generation control (C-AGC). Thus, a storagebased tie-line control loop (STCL) on the basis of C-AGC (STCL-AGC) is proposed in this paper, which makes a better tradeoff in the recovery of the frequency deviations and the unscheduled power exchange. In STCL-AGC, utility-scaled battery… More >

    Xu Gui-Hong1, Zhang Wei-Biao2, Liao Hua-Rong1, Yang Rong-Shan3

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 735-743, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000077

Abstract This paper reports the experimental study of water pressure properties inside crack of Non-ballasted track structure. Pre-existing crack concrete specimens with 510 × 1290 × 80mm dimensions were produced, and fluid-fracture interaction tests under cyclic loading were performed. The water pressure were measured at different locations inside cracks and with different loading frequencies as well as amplitudes. By using the experimental data, then is employed to investigate the water pressure distribution inside cracks affected by both the frequency and amplitude under cyclic loading. From this study, it was determined that the water pressure of cracks alternates between positive and negative… More >

A DC Voltage Balancing Strategy Based on Active Vector Correction for Single-Phase Cascaded SST

    Zhendong Ji1, Shuzheng Wang2, Yichao Sun3, Jianhua Wang4, Jianfeng Zhao4

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 715-723, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000075

Abstract The disadvantages in power system with traditional industrial frequency transformer can be resolved by Solid State Transformer (SST). Cascaded SST can be transformerless connected to the high voltage grid. However, the output performance and reliability of cascaded SST are seriously influenced by DC voltage balancing problem which exists in cascaded configuration. In this paper, a DC voltage balancing strategy based on active vector correction is proposed. This strategy is characterized by on-demand active power and equal reactive power among modulars. Then, a quantitative analysis method is presented to validate active power adjusting ability of the traditional and the proposed strategies.… More >

Hybrid Modulation Strategy For Reactive Compensation Of PV GridConnected Inverter

    Liao Tian-fa

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 695-704, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000073

Abstract With the spreading of Photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected system, grid-connected reactive-load compensation and harmonic control is becoming a research focus. Unipolar and bipolar modulations are widely used in active power filter of PV grid-connected inverter. Unipolar modulation is good at harmonic, ripples and efficiency control, while bipolar modulation is good at grid-connected current control. A comprehensive comparison between the aforementioned modulation strategies in aspects of basic switching action, effects on operation mode, current harmonics, efficiency, is done in this paper. Base on it, a hybrid modulation strategy with the fusion of the unipolar and bipolar modulation is proposed in this paper. Numerical… More >

Detecting Android Inter-App Data Leakage Via Compositional Concolic Walking

    Tianjun Wu, Yuexiang Yang

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 755-766, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000079

Abstract While many research efforts have been around auditing individual android apps, the security issues related to the interaction among multiple apps are less studied. Due to the hidden nature of Inter-App communications, few existing security tools are able to detect such related vulnerable behaviors. This paper proposes to perform overall security auditing using dynamic analysis techniques. We focus on data leakage as it is one of the most common vulnerabilities for Android applications. We present an app auditing system AppWalker, which uses concolic execution on a set of apps. We use static Inter-App taint analysis to guide the dynamic auditing… More >
