Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress and coping strategy of Chinese International Students (CISs) during the epidemic, and to explore the relationship between identification with Chinese cultural beliefs and coping strategies, positive experience, negative emotion and need for psychological support. Two hundred and thirty CISs participated in the study by filling out a series of questionnaires that we designed. Abstract Psychological hotlines became the most convenient and feasible way to provide psychological intervention for the needy after the outbreak of COVID- 19. Hotlines assisting in defeating the coronavirus functioned quite differently from general psychological hotlines and face-to-face counseling. This article discusses the specificity of hotlines of this kind, including appropriate operational procedures that include the overall assessment and the empathetic understanding of the clients, a quick focus on goals, and real-world oriented assistance. Abstract The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has provoked a significant amount of panic due to dramatic changes in daily routines for residents all over China. Abstract In order to grasp the particle flow characteristics and energy consumption of industrial fluidized spouted beds, we conduct numerical simulations on the basis of a Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics (CPFD) approach. In particular, the traction model of Wen-Yu-Ergun is used and different inlet conditions are considered. Using a low-speed fluidizing gas, the flow state of the particles is better and the amount of particles accumulated at the bottom of the bed wall becomes smaller. Abstract The interaction of a falling drop (diluted aqueous solution of ink in various concentrations) with a target fluid (partially degassed tap water) has been tracked by means of high-resolution video recording and photography.
