    Energy Engineering, Vol.120, No.10, pp. 2325-2342, 2023, DOI:10.32604/ee.2023.029360

Abstract New energy vehicles have better clean and environmental protection characteristics than traditional fuel vehicles. The new energy engine cooling technology is critical in the design of new energy vehicles. This paper used one-and three-way joint simulation methods to simulate the refrigeration system of new energy vehicles. Firstly, a k-ε turbulent flow model for the cooling pump flow field is established based on the principle of computational fluid dynamics. Then, the CFD commercial fluid analysis software FLUENT is used to simulate the flow field of the cooling pump under different inlet flow conditions. This paper proposes an optimization scheme for new… More > Graphic Abstract

Research on Ratio of New Energy Vehicles to Charging Piles in China

    Zhiqiu Yu*, Shuo-Yan Chou

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.42, No.3, pp. 963-984, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.023129

Abstract With the widespread of new energy vehicles, charging piles have also been continuously installed and constructed. In order to make the number of piles meet the needs of the development of new energy vehicles, this study aims to apply the method of system dynamics and combined with the grey prediction theory to determine the parameters as well as to simulate and analyze the ratio of vehicles to chargers. Through scenario analysis, it is predicted that by 2030, this ratio will gradually decrease from 1.79 to 1. In order to achieve this ratio as 1:1, it is necessary to speed up… More >

Design of a Multichannel Dynamic Temperature Measurement System for Developing Thermal Management System of New Energy Vehicles

    Wei Li1, Shusheng Xiong2,*, Xiaojun Zhou1, Wei Shi3

    Energy Engineering, Vol.117, No.5, pp. 301-314, 2020, DOI:10.32604/EE.2020.011506

Abstract A multichannel temperature measurement system based on LabVIEW and modular instruments with general purpose input/output interface is described. External simple electronic components, such as analog switches arrays, sampling resistors and voltage reference are used to expand the analog input channel of the instrument. The interface circuit for 3-wire resistance temperature device powered by the voltage reference was designed and constructed. The feasibility of filtering algorithm based on moving average filter and the data conversion method by direct computation of the polynomial are verified in LabVIEW. A comparison test with the commercial temperature measurement instrument is conducted to test the same… More >

"Data Mining of Urban New Energy Vehicles in an Intelligent Government Subsidy Environment Using Closed-Loop Supply Chain Pricing Model"

    Jing-Hua Zhao1,†, Da-Lin Zeng2,*, Ting-Wei Zhou1,‡, Ze-Chao Zhu1,§

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.35, No.3, pp. 151-172, 2020, DOI:10.32604/csse.2020.35.151

Abstract Given the government subsidies for new energy vehicles, this study is conducted to study the closed-loop supply chain comprising individual manufacturers, individual retailers and individual third-party recyclers. In this paper, combine the reality of new energy vehicles with the relevant research of game theory, and establish an no government subsidy model (Model N), a government subsidized consumer model (Model C), a government subsidized manufacturer model (Model M), a government subsidized third party recycler model (Model T), and a government subsidized retailer model (Model R) for quantitative research. Then, numerical examples are used to simulate the impact of government subsidies on… More >
