    Interpretation of the Entangled States

    D. L. Khokhlov*

    Journal of Quantum Computing, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 147-150, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jqc.2020.014734 - 31 December 2020

Abstract An interpretation of the entangled states is considered. Two-photon states of photon A on path a and photon B on path b with polarizations H, V are constructed. Two synchronized photons, 1 and 2, can take the paths a and b, with equal probability 50%. In the bases a, b and H, V, the states of the photons form the product states. In the basis 1, 2, the states of the photons form the entangled state. The states of the photons in the bases 1, 2; a, b; H, V are inseparable. The correlation of the photons due to the entanglement in the More >

Abstract Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) deficiency is the most common genetic cause of hyperhomocysteinemia, which has been implicated in the etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA). This study was designed to investigate the association between two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) (rs1801133 [C677T] and rs1801131 [A1298C]) in the MTHFR gene and RSA, in Saudis. These two SNPs were selected as these polymorphisms have a different effect on the activity and stability of the enzyme, and significantly diverse effects have been reported in relation to the association with RSA. Ethical approval was acquired from the IRB at King Saud… More >

Identifying Event-Specific Opinion Leaders by Local Weighted LeaderRank

    Wanxia Yang1,*, Sadaqatur Rehman2, Wenhui Que3

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.26, No.6, pp. 1561-1574, 2020, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2020.012480

Abstract Identifying event-specific opinion leaders is essential for understanding event developments and influencing public opinion. News articles are informative and formal in expression, and include valuable information on specific events. In this paper, we propose an improved variant of LeaderRank, called local weighted LeaderRank, to measure the event-specific influence of person nodes in a weighted and undirected person cooccurrence network constructed using news articles related to a specific event. Our proposed method measures the influence of person nodes by considering both the cooccurrence strength between persons, and additional local link weight information for each local person More >

Mathematical Interpolation and Correction of Three-Dimensional Modelling of High-Speed Railway

    Jun Gao1,2,*, Xiao Lin3

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.26, No.5, pp. 1023-1034, 2020, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2020.010134

Abstract Three-dimensional (3D) modelling of high-speed railways, bad geology, and special geotechnical engineering inferences may involve problems, such as inaccurate geological data, hidden underground geological phenomena, and complex geological processes. In this study, surface geological boundaries, drainage, transportation networks, covers, lenses, and small geological units are established using topographic surveying and mapping data, geological data, and geological exploration data acquisition. The 3D model of the karst system combines geological and mathematical interpolation curved surface 3D model simulation analysis, trend surface fitting, and interpolation of the NURBS surface and correct analysis. The model is used to describe More >

Effects of Different Salt Stress on Physiological Growth and Yield of Drip Irrigation Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)

    Jiangchun Chen1, Zhenhua Wang1,2,*, Jinzhu Zhang1, Weibin Cao1

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.26, No.5, pp. 949-959, 2020, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2020.010127

Abstract This study adopted the method of barrel planting to artificially set the salt content of six different soils (CK:1.5 g kg-1 , T1:3.0 g kg-1 , T2:4.0 g kg-1 , T3:5.3 g kg-1 , T4:6.2 g kg-1 , T5:7.3 g kg-1 ) to study the effects of different degrees of mild salt stress on photosynthetic physiology, growth index and yield of cotton under drip irrigation. The results showed that with the increasing salt stress and the prolongation of stress time, the photosynthetic physiological indexes of cotton showed a downward trend (P < 0.01), and the plant height and leaf… More >

A Fast Product of Conditional Reduction Method for System Failure Probability Sensitivity Evaluation

    Jie Yang1,2, Changping Chen1,2,*, Ao Ma1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.125, No.3, pp. 1159-1171, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2020.09640 - 15 December 2020

Abstract System reliability sensitivity analysis becomes difficult due to involving the issues of the correlation between failure modes whether using analytic method or numerical simulation methods. A fast conditional reduction method based on conditional probability theory is proposed to solve the sensitivity analysis based on the approximate analytic method. The relevant concepts are introduced to characterize the correlation between failure modes by the reliability index and correlation coefficient, and conditional normal fractile the for the multi-dimensional conditional failure analysis is proposed based on the two-dimensional normal distribution function. Thus the calculation of system failure probability can… More >

Abstract Introduction: In children, data on the effects on carnitine supplementation and myocardial function are limited. A few studies have investigated the relationship between serum carnitine levels in the setting of depressed cardiac function and have demonstrated possible benefits. As such, this systematic review and meta-analyses aimed to assess the effects carnitine supplementation on left ventricular function. Materials and Methods: A systematic review of the literature was performed to identify full text manuscripts in English. PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane databases were queried. Studies were included with data from pediatric patients, that used carnitine supplementation and included preand… More >

Abstract A subsynchronous oscillation suppression strategy based on self-adaptive auto disturbance rejection proportional integral controller is proposed for doublyfed induction generator-based wind farm integrated into grid through voltage source converter based multi-terminal direct current. In this strategy, the nonlinear PI controller is constructed by fal function to replace the traditional linear PI controller, and then the tracking differentiator is used to arrange the appropriate transition process in combination with the idea of active disturbance rejection control, and the self-adaptive auto disturbance rejection proportional integral controller is designed. By applying the controller to the inner loop of the… More >

A Method of Disc Inclination Correction Based on the Inversion Model of Rotation Law

    Yanan Zhang1,*, Lin Ouyang2, Qinqin Li2, Haichen Ju2

    Journal on Big Data, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 125-133, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jbd.2020.012879 - 13 October 2020

Abstract Under the traditional dynamic model, the conventional method for solving the rotation angle of a rigid body is to use the fixed-axis rotation law of the rigid body, but the known rotation shaft position must be used as a prerequisite. In practical work, for the rotation of a rigid body under multiple forces, solving the shaft is often a difficult problem. In this paper, we consider the rigid body of the disc is subjected to the force of uneven magnitude from multiple angles, the position of the rotating shaft is obtained by iterative inversion through… More >

Abstract Internet of Things (IoT) is a network that connects things in a special union. It embeds a physical entity through an intelligent perception system to obtain information about the component at any time. It connects various objects. IoT has the ability of information transmission, information perception, andinformationprocessing.Theairqualityforecastinghasalways been an urgent problem, which affects people’s quality of life seriously. So far, many air quality prediction algorithms have been proposed, which can be mainly classifed into two categories. One is regression-based prediction, the other is deep learning-based prediction. Regression-based prediction is aimed to make use of the classical… More >
