    R. Chithra Devi1,*, D. Jemi Florinabel2, Narayanan Prasanth3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.1, pp. 1527-1540, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.019343

Abstract The high-performance computing paradigm needs high-speed switching fabrics to meet the heavy traffic generated by their applications. These switching fabrics are efficiently driven by the deployed scheduling algorithms. In this paper, we proposed two scheduling algorithms for input queued switches whose operations are based on ranking procedures. At first, we proposed a Simple 2-Bit (S2B) scheme which uses binary ranking procedure and queue size for scheduling the packets. Here, the Virtual Output Queue (VOQ) set with maximum number of empty queues receives higher rank than other VOQ’s. Through simulation, we showed S2B has better throughput performance than Highest Ranking First… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.1, pp. 109-121, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.019295

Abstract The numbers of multimedia applications and their users increase with each passing day. Different multi-carrier systems have been developed along with varying techniques of space-time coding to address the demand of the future generation of network systems. In this article, a fuzzy logic empowered adaptive backpropagation neural network (FLeABPNN) algorithm is proposed for joint channel and multi-user detection (CMD). FLeABPNN has two stages. The first stage estimates the channel parameters, and the second performs multi-user detection. The proposed approach capitalizes on a neuro-fuzzy hybrid system that combines the competencies of both fuzzy logic and neural networks. This study analyzes the… More >

    Ye Tian1,2, Yang Yang1,*, Han Yang3, Ze Ji4

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.39, No.3, pp. 403-414, 2021, DOI:10.32604/csse.2021.016357

Abstract To model a true three-dimensional (3D) display system, we introduced the method of voxel molding to obtain the stereoscopic imaging space of the system. For the distribution of each voxel, we proposed a four-dimensional (4D) Givone–Roessor (GR) model for state-space representation—that is, we established a local state-space model with the 3D position and one-dimensional time coordinates to describe the system. First, we extended the original elementary operation approach to a 4D condition and proposed the implementation steps of the realization matrix of the 4D GR model. Then, we described the working process of a true 3D display system, analyzed its… More >

    T. Prabhu1,*, S. Chenthur Pandian2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.2, pp. 2549-2562, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.018793

Abstract This paper proposes, demonstrates, and describes a basic T-shaped Multi-Input and Multi-Output (MIMO) antenna with a resonant frequency of 3.1 to 10.6 GHz. Compared with the U-shaped antenna, the mutual coupling is minimized by using a T-shaped patch antenna. The T-shaped patch antenna shapes filter properties are tested to achieve separation over the 3.1 to 10.6 GHz frequency range. The parametric analysis, including width, duration, and spacing, is designed in the MIMO applications for good isolation. On the FR4 substratum, the configuration of MIMO is simulated. The appropriate dielectric material ɛr = 4.4 is introduced using this contribution and application… More >

Abstract Every 24 seconds, someone dies on the road due to road accidents and it is the 8th leading cause of death and the first among children aged 15–29 years. 1.35 million people globally die every year due to road traffic crashes. An additional 20–50 million suffer from non-fatal injuries, often resulting in long-term disabilities. This costs around 3% of Gross Domestic Product to most countries, and it is a considerable economic loss. The governments have taken various measures such as better road infrastructures and strict enforcement of motor-vehicle laws to reduce these accidents. However, there is still no remarkable reduction… More >

Abstract Most smartphone users prefer easy and convenient authentication without remembering complicated passwords or drawing intricate patterns. Preferably, after one-time authentication, there is no verification of the user’s authenticity. Therefore, security and privacy against unauthorized users is a crucial research area. Behavioral authentication is an emerging security technique that is gaining attention for its uniqueness and transparency. In this paper, a behavior-based authentication system is built using swipe movements to continuously authenticate the user after one-time traditional authentication. The key feature is the selection of an optimal feature set for the swipe movement. Five machine learning classifiers are used, of which… More >

    Wenjun Gao1, Yang Yang1,*, Hongtao Duan1, Mingsheng Li1, Jinrong Ma1, Songwei Jin2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.39, No.1, pp. 69-85, 2021, DOI:10.32604/csse.2021.016475

Abstract The two-dimensional (2-D) system has a wide range of applications in different fields, including satellite meteorological maps, process control, and digital filtering. Therefore, the research on the stability of 2-D systems is of great significance. Considering that multiple systems exist in switching and alternating work in the actual production process, but the system itself often has external perturbation and interference. To solve the above problems, this paper investigates the output feedback robust H stabilization for a class of discrete-time 2-D switched systems, which the Roesser model with uncertainties represents. First, sufficient conditions for exponential stability are derived via the average… More >
