    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.3, pp. 6119-6143, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.038764

Abstract This paper proposes a Delivery Service Management (DSM) system for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that own a delivery fleet of pickup trucks to manage Business-to-Business (B2B) delivery services. The proposed DSM system integrates four systems: Delivery Location Positioning (DLP), Delivery Route Planning (DRP), Arrival Time Prediction (ATP), and Communication and Data Sharing (CDS) systems. These systems are used to pinpoint the delivery locations of customers, plan the delivery route of each truck, predict arrival time (with an interval) at each delivery location, and communicate and share information among stakeholders, respectively. The DSM system deploys Google applications, a GPS tracking… More >

    Shujing Sun1,3, Jiale Wu2, Jian Yao1, Yang Cheng4, Xin Zhang1, Zhihua Lu3, Pengjiang Qian1,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.137, No.1, pp. 923-938, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.027356

Abstract Many existing intelligent recognition technologies require huge datasets for model learning. However, it is not easy to collect rectal cancer images, so the performance is usually low with limited training samples. In addition, traditional rectal cancer staging is time-consuming, error-prone, and susceptible to physicians’ subjective awareness as well as professional expertise. To settle these deficiencies, we propose a novel deep-learning model to classify the rectal cancer stages of T2 and T3. First, a novel deep learning model (RectalNet) is constructed based on residual learning, which combines the squeeze-excitation with the asymptotic output layer and new cross-convolution layer links in the… More >

    Hongxiu Gao1, Lin Zhu2, Tianqi Liu1, Xueyu Leng1, Zhenxing Zhu3, Wei Xie1, Haitao Lv1, Zhengxun Jin1, Ping Wu4,#, Zhongchen Zhang1,*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.92, No.6, pp. 1743-1763, 2023, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2023.026516

Abstract Cyclophilin (CYP) plays an important role in plant response to stress, and OsCYP2, one gene of cyclophlilin family, is involved in auxin signal transduction and stress signaling in rice. However, the mechanism that OsCYP2 is involved in rice response to low temperature is still unclear. We identified a new OsCYP2 allelic mutant, lrl3, with fewer lateral roots, and the differences in shoot height, primary root length and adventitious root length increased with the growth process compared to the wild-type plant. Auxin signaling pathway was also affected and became insensitive to gravity. The transgenic rice plants with over-expression of OsCYP2 were… More >

    Salah-ud-din Khokhar1,2,*, QinKe Peng1, Muhammad Yasir Noor3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.2, pp. 2413-2427, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.036148

Abstract For fuzzy systems to be implemented effectively, the fuzzy membership function (MF) is essential. A fuzzy system (FS) that implements precise input and output MFs is presented to enhance the performance and accuracy of single-input single-output (SISO) FSs and introduce the most applicable input and output MFs protocol to linearize the fuzzy system’s output. Utilizing a variety of non-linear techniques, a SISO FS is simulated. The results of FS experiments conducted in comparable conditions are then compared. The simulated results and the results of the experimental setup agree fairly well. The findings of the suggested model demonstrate that the relative… More >

Grey Wolf-Based Method for an Implicit Authentication of Smartphone Users

Abdulwahab Ali Almazroi, Mohamed Meselhy Eltoukhy*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.2, pp. 3729-3741, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.036020

Abstract Smartphones have now become an integral part of our everyday lives. User authentication on smartphones is often accomplished by mechanisms (like face unlock, pattern, or pin password) that authenticate the user’s identity. These technologies are simple, inexpensive, and fast for repeated logins. However, these technologies are still subject to assaults like smudge assaults and shoulder surfing. Users’ touch behavior while using their cell phones might be used to authenticate them, which would solve the problem. The performance of the authentication process may be influenced by the attributes chosen (from these behaviors). The purpose of this study is to present an… More >

Emad Abd Al Rahman1, Nur Intan Raihana Ruhaiyem1,*, Majed Bouchahma2, Kamarul Imran Musa3

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.36, No.3, pp. 3007-3028, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.032580

Abstract This study offers a framework for a breast cancer computer-aided treatment prediction (CATP) system. The rising death rate among women due to breast cancer is a worldwide health concern that can only be addressed by early diagnosis and frequent screening. Mammography has been the most utilized breast imaging technique to date. Radiologists have begun to use computer-aided detection and diagnosis (CAD) systems to improve the accuracy of breast cancer diagnosis by minimizing human errors. Despite the progress of artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical field, this study indicates that systems that can anticipate a treatment plan once a patient has… More >

STPGTN–A Multi-Branch Parameters Identification Method Considering Spatial Constraints and Transient Measurement Data

    Shuai Zhang, Liguo Weng*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.136, No.3, pp. 2635-2654, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.025405

Abstract Transmission line (TL) Parameter Identification (PI) method plays an essential role in the transmission system. The existing PI methods usually have two limitations: (1) These methods only model for single TL, and can not consider the topology connection of multiple branches for simultaneous identification. (2) Transient bad data is ignored by methods, and the random selection of terminal section data may cause the distortion of PI and have serious consequences. Therefore, a multi-task PI model considering multiple TLs’ spatial constraints and massive electrical section data is proposed in this paper. The Graph Attention Network module is used to draw a… More > Graphic Abstract
