Abstract Background: We evaluated surgical outcomes of biventricular repair for atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) or double-outlet right ventricle (DORV). Abstract Residual atrioventricular valve regurgitation after correction of complete atrioventricular septal defect (cAVSD) is still not ideal. Abstract Since the first identification of Tetralogy of Fallot in 1671, consisting of a combination of anatomical defects including biventricular origin of the aorta, maligned ventricular septal defect, overriding aorta, and narrowing or atresia of the pulmonary outflow tract.
