    Chongfei Sun1, Jianzhong Shang1, Zirong Luo1, Xin Li2,*, Zhongyue Lu1, Guoheng Wu1

    FDMP-Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing, Vol.16, No.6, pp. 1147-1159, 2020, DOI:10.32604/fdmp.2020.09937

Abstract Small moving vehicles represent an important category of marine engineering tools and devices (equipment) typically used for ocean resource detection and maintenance of marine rights and interests. The lack of efficient power supply modes is one of the technical bottlenecks restricting the effective utilisation of this type of equipment. In this work, the performance characteristics of a new type of elastic-blade/wave-energy converter (EBWEC) and its core energy conversion component (named wave energy absorber) are comprehensively studied. In particular, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and experiments have been used to analyze the hydrodynamics and performance characteristics of the EBWEC. The pressure… More >

A Subsynchronous Oscillation Suppression Method Based on Self-Adaptive Auto Disturbance Rejection Proportional Integral Control of Voltage Source Converter Based Multi-Terminal Direct Current System with Doubly-Fed Induction Generator-Based Wind Farm Access

    Miaohong Su1, Haiying Dong1,2,*, Kaiqi Liu1, Weiwei Zou1

    Energy Engineering, Vol.117, No.6, pp. 439-452, 2020, DOI:10.32604/EE.2020.011805

Abstract A subsynchronous oscillation suppression strategy based on self-adaptive auto disturbance rejection proportional integral controller is proposed for doublyfed induction generator-based wind farm integrated into grid through voltage source converter based multi-terminal direct current. In this strategy, the nonlinear PI controller is constructed by fal function to replace the traditional linear PI controller, and then the tracking differentiator is used to arrange the appropriate transition process in combination with the idea of active disturbance rejection control, and the self-adaptive auto disturbance rejection proportional integral controller is designed. By applying the controller to the inner loop of the converter on the rotor… More >

Design and Research of Intelligent Alcohol Detector Based on Single Chip Microcomputer

    Xiaokan Wang*, Qiong Wang

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 121-127, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010200

Abstract In order to prevent drunk driving timely and protect personal safety, a kind of vehicle-loaded alcohol concentration detector based on single chip microcomputer control is designed. The detector usesAT89C51 microcontroller as the core, makes use of the gas sensor, A/D converter to detect the alcohol concentration of the breath of the driver, can set different thresholds according to the space of the car model, automatically cut off the ignition circuit for the exceeded threshold, and has the sound and light alarm function, which fundamentally solve the problem of drunk driving. The instrument is compact in size, stable in performance, convenient… More >

Modeling of Canonical Switching Cell Converter Using Genetic Algorithm

    T. V. Viknesh1, V. Manik,an

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.113, No.1, pp. 109-116, 2017, DOI:10.3970/cmes.2017.113.107

Abstract The working of Canonical switching cell (CSC) converter was studied and its equivalent circuit during ON and OFF states were obtained. State space model of CSC converter in ON and OFF states were developed using the Kirchhoff laws. The state space matrices were used to construct the transfer functions of ON & OFF states. The step response of the converter was simulated using MATLAB. The step response curve was obtained using different values of circuit components (L, C1, C2 and RL)and optimized. The characteristic parameters such as rise time, overshoot, settling time, steady state error and stability were determined using… More >
