    Xiaoyun Lu1, Jiuying Dong2,3,*, Hecheng Li1, Shuping Wan4

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.132, No.3, pp. 881-907, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.020598

Abstract Based on the analyses of existing preference group decision-making (PGDM) methods with intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations (IFPRs), we present a new PGDM framework with incomplete IFPRs. A generalized multiplicative consistent for IFPRs is defined, and a mathematical programming model is constructed to supplement the missing values in incomplete IFPRs. Moreover, in this study, another mathematical programming model is constructed to improve the consistency level of unacceptably multiplicative consistent IFPRs. For group decisionmaking (GDM) with incomplete IFPRs, three reliable sources inuencing the weights of experts are identified. Subsequently, a method for determining the weights of experts is developed by simultaneously considering… More >

    Rui Yong1,2,*, Jun Ye1,2, Shigui Du1,2, Aqin Zhu1, Yingying Zhang1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.132, No.2, pp. 569-584, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019509

Abstract The simplified neutrosophic number (SNN) can represent uncertain, imprecise, incomplete, and inconsistent information that exists in scientific, technological, and engineering fields. Hence, it is a useful tool for describing truth, falsity, and indeterminacy information in multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) problems. To suit decision makers’ preference selection, the operational flexibility of aggregation operators shows its importance in dealing with the flexible decision-making problems in the SNN environment. To solve this problem, this paper develops the Aczel-Alsina aggregation operators of SNNs for MADM problems in view of the Aczel-Alsina operational flexibility. First, we define the Aczel-Alsina operations of SNNs. Then, the Aczel-Alsina… More >

    Fawaz Alassery1, Ahmed Alzahrani2, Asif Irshad Khan2, Kanika Sharma3, Masood Ahmad4, Raees Ahmad Khan4,*

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.1, pp. 859-872, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.025796

Abstract In recent years, it has been observed that the disclosure of information increases the risk of terrorism. Without restricting the accessibility of information, providing security is difficult. So, there is a demand for time to fill the gap between security and accessibility of information. In fact, security tools should be usable for improving the security as well as the accessibility of information. Though security and accessibility are not directly influenced, some of their factors are indirectly influenced by each other. Attributes play an important role in bridging the gap between security and accessibility. In this paper, we identify the key… More >

How Load Aggregators Avoid Risks in Spot Electricity Market: In the Framework of Power Consumption Right Option Contracts

    Jiacheng Yang1, Xiaohe Zhai1, Zhongfu Tan1,2,*, Zhenghao He1

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.3, pp. 883-906, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.018033

Abstract There is uncertainty in the electricity price of spot electricity market, which makes load aggregators undertake price risks for their agent users. In order to allow load aggregators to reduce the spot market price risk, scholars have proposed many solutions, such as improving the declaration decision-making model, signing power mutual insurance contracts, and adding energy storage and mobilizing demand-side resources to respond. In terms of demand side, calling flexible demand-side resources can be considered as a key solution. The user's power consumption rights (PCRs) are core contents of the demand-side resources. However, there have been few studies on the pricing… More >

Hui Wang, Yishu Chen*, Zichao Wu, Haocheng Xu

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.3, pp. 1141-1167, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.016151

    Abstract

The randomness and uncertainty of renewable energy generation are expected to significantly change the optimal decision-making of trans-provincial electricity market subjects. Therefore, it is beneficial to optimize the interests of each of these subjects, considering the unpredictable risks of renewable energy under the renewable portfolio standards (RPS) and researching their effects on the optimal decision-making of trans-provincial electricity market multi-subjects. First, we develop a trans-provincial trading market mechanism for renewable energy and clarify the electricity supply and demand relation and the green certificates supply and demand relation of trans-provincial electricity market multi-subjects. Then, under the RPS, we construct a multi-subject… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.2, pp. 4125-4142, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.024676

Abstract Many businesses have experienced difficulties in selecting a cloud service provider (CSP) due to the rapid advancement of cloud computing services and the proliferation of CSPs. Many independent criteria should be considered when evaluating the services provided by different CSPs. It is a case of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM). This paper presents an integrated MCDM cloud service selection framework for determining the most appropriate service provider based on the best only method (BOM) and technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). To obtain the weights of criteria and the relative importance of CSPs based on each criterion,… More >

Group Decision-Making Model of Renal Cancer Surgery Options Using Entropy Fuzzy Element Aczel-Alsina Weighted Aggregation Operators under the Environment of Fuzzy Multi-Sets

    Jing Fu1,2, Jun Ye3, Liping Xie1,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.3, pp. 1751-1769, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.018739

Abstract Since existing selection methods of surgical treatment schemes of renal cancer patients mainly depend on physicians’ clinical experience and judgments, the surgical treatment options of renal cancer patients lack their scientifical and reasonable information expression and group decision-making model for renal cancer patients. Fuzzy multi-sets (FMSs) have a number of properties, which make them suitable for expressing the uncertain information of medical diagnoses and treatments in group decision-making (GDM) problems. To choose the most appropriate surgical treatment scheme for a patient with localized renal cell carcinoma (RCC) (T1 stage kidney tumor), this article needs to develop an effective GDM model… More >

Dombi-Normalized Weighted Bonferroni Mean Operators with Novel Multiple-Valued Complex Neutrosophic Uncertain Linguistic Sets and Their Application in Decision Making

    Tahir Mahmood1, Zeeshan Ali1, Dulyawit Prangchumpol2,*, Thammarat Panityakul3

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.3, pp. 1587-1623, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.017998

Abstract Although fuzzy set concepts have evolved, neutrosophic sets are attracting more attention due to the greater power of the structure of neutrosophic sets. The ability to account for components that are true, false or neither true nor false is useful in the resolution of real-life problems. However, simultaneous variations render neutrosophic sets unsuitable in specific circumstances. To enable the management of these sorts of issues, we combine the principle of multi-valued neutrosophic uncertain linguistic sets and complex fuzzy sets to develop the principle of multi-valued complex neutrosophic uncertain linguistic sets. Multi-valued complex neutrosophic uncertain linguistic sets can contain grades of… More >
