Programming Logic Modeling and Cross-Program Defect Detection Method for Object-Oriented Code

    Yan Liu1, Wenyuan Fang1, Qiang Wei1, *, Yuan Zhao1, Liang Wang2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.64, No.1, pp. 273-295, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.09659

Abstract Code defects can lead to software vulnerability and even produce vulnerability risks. Existing research shows that the code detection technology with text analysis can judge whether object-oriented code files are defective to some extent. However, these detection techniques are mainly based on text features and have weak detection capabilities across programs. Compared with the uncertainty of the code and text caused by the developer’s personalization, the programming language has a stricter logical specification, which reflects the rules and requirements of the language itself and the developer’s potential way of thinking. This article replaces text analysis with programming logic modeling, breaks… More >

Pipeline Defect Detection Cloud System Using Role Encryption and Hybrid Information

    Ce Li1,2,*, Xinyu Shang2, Liguo Zhang3,4, Feng Yang1,2, Jing Zheng1,5, Xianlei Xu1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.3, pp. 1245-1260, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.06159

Abstract Pipeline defect detection systems collect the videos from cameras of pipeline robots, however the systems always analyzed these videos by offline systems or humans to detect the defects of potential security threats. The existing systems tend to reach the limit in terms of data access anywhere, access security and video processing on cloud. There is in need of studying on a pipeline defect detection cloud system for automatic pipeline inspection. In this paper, we deploy the framework of a cloud based pipeline defect detection system, including the user management module, pipeline robot control module, system service module, and defect detection… More >

An Enhanced Nonlocal Self-Similarity Technique for Fabric Defect Detection

    Boheng Wang1, Li Ma1, Jielin Jiang1,2,*

Journal of Information Hiding and Privacy Protection, Vol.1, No.3, pp. 135-142, 2019, DOI:10.32604/jihpp.2019.07432

Abstract Fabric defect detection has been an indispensable and important link in fabric production, many studies on the development of vision based automated inspection techniques have been reported. The main drawback of existing methods is that they can only inspect a particular type of fabric pattern in controlled environment. Recently, nonlocal self-similarity (NSS) based method is used for fabric defect detection. This method achieves good defect detection performance for small defects with uneven illumination, the disadvantage of NNS based method is poor for detecting linear defects. Based on this reason, we improve NSS based defect detection method by introducing a gray… More >
