Marketing Strategies Evaluation and Selection for Supply Chain Management Under Uncertainty

Ngo Quang Trung, Nguyen Van Thanh*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.3, pp. 6535-6546, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.031815

Abstract Sustainable marketing, often known as green marketing, has grown in popularity over the last two decades. Government is currently putting pressure to encourage firms to become environmentally aware in multiple aspects like human and financial utilization, advertisement, and product movement. Different types of companies are including many environmental campaigns into their own products to take advantage of the problem. Although many scholars have addressed the relevance of green marketing as well as theory development, this study is unique in that it examines both techniques in a fuzzy context. The integrated Fuzzy Multicriteria Decision Making Model (MCDM) of the analytical hierarchy… More >

SPAD Value Difference between Blueberry Cultivar ‘STAR’ by Planted Ground and Pot

Gyung Deok Han1, Dae Ho Jung2, Seong Heo3,*, Yong Suk Chung1,*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.11, pp. 2583-2590, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.022866

Abstract In the smart farm, we can control every detail for production. Collecting every factor that affects the crop’s final yield is necessary to optimize its efficiency. The SPAD values were observed in the ‘Star’ cultivar blueberry (Vaccinium darrowii) three times a day and at three different plant heights. The pattern of SPAD value change was different by the planting position. Ground planted blueberry (V. darrowii) represented a stable SPAD value during the day and at the different heights. However, the SPAD value was increased by time in pot-planted blueberry (V. darrowii). Also, the SPAD value of pot-planted blueberry was lower… More >

Pollution Dispersion in Urban Street Canyons with Green Belts

    Xiaoxuan Zhu1, Xueyan Wang2, Li Lei1,*, Yuting Zhao1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.132, No.2, pp. 661-679, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.020427

Abstract In this study, numerical simulations were used to explore the effects of roadside green belt, urban street spatial layout, and wind speed on vehicle exhaust emission diffusion in street canyon. The diffusion of different sized particles in the street canyon and the influence of wind speed were investigated. The individual daily average pollutant intake was used to evaluate the exposure level in a street canyon microenvironment. The central and leeward green belts of the road were the most conducive to the diffusion of pollutants, while the positioning of the green belts both sides of a road was least conducive to… More >

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.10, No.10, pp. 2543-2552, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2022.020965

Abstract The present study was conducted to evaluate the impact of bimetallic nanoparticles (NPs) of copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) from Crotalaria longirostrata on the insect mortality and cell viability of Phenacoccus solenopsis. The biosynthesis of bimetallic nanoparticles (Cu/Zn-NPs) from C. longirostrata was confirmed by the presence of a single peak around 378 nm. The hydrodynamic diameter of the Cu/Zn nanoparticles varied from 59 to 119 nm and their zeta potential was found to be −30.90 mV. The EDX analysis showed a strong signal for Cu and Zn (8 and 8.6 keV, respectively). The Cu/Zn-NPs showed an effective insecticide activity against P. solenopsis with 63%… More >

Research on WNN Greenhouse Temperature Prediction Method Based on GA

    Wenbin Dai1, Lina Wang1,2,*, Binrui Wang1, Xiaohong Cui1, Xue Li1

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.10, pp. 2283-2296, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.021096

Abstract Temperature in agricultural production has a direct impact on the growth of crops. The emergence of greenhouses has improved the impact of the original unpredictable changes in temperature, but the temperature modeling of greenhouses is still the main direction at present. Neural network modeling relies on sufficient actual data to model greenhouses, but there is a widening gap in the application of different neural networks. This paper proposes a greenhouse temperature prediction model based on wavelet neural network with genetic algorithm (GA-WNN). With the simple network structure and the nonlinear adaptability of the wavelet basis function, wavelet neural network (WNN)… More >

N-Exponential Fertilization Could Affect the Growth and Nitrogen Accumulation of Metasequoia glyptostroboides Seedling in a Greenhouse Environment

    Jiasen Wu1, Genping Tong2, Rui Guo2, Zihao Ye1, Jin Jin1, Haiping Lin1,3,*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.10, pp. 2211-2220, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.021382

Abstract Metasequoia glyptostroboides (M. glyptostroboides) is a unique plant species related to relic flora in China. It plays a positive role in afforestation and its long-term protection with high paleoclimate research value. However, due to the nutrients-supply deficiency, it is a big challenge to cultivate the high-quality seedlings of M. glyptostroboides. In this study, a pot experiment in a greenhouse environment was carried out to identify the effect of N-exponential fertilization on the growth and nutrient distribution of M. glyptostroboides seedling. The M. glyptostroboides rooted seedlings with 12-month growth were chosen. Different N fertilizer levels with conventional fertilization (CF: 5.0 g… More >

    Wen-Tsai Sung1, Ching-Hao Weng1, Sung-Jung Hsiao2,*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.3, pp. 1971-1988, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.026927

Abstract The Internet of Things (IoT) has flourished in recent years, which brings convenience to people’s lives, improves the quality of life, allows more effectively managing and maximizing benefits in industry, and improves weather predictions as the impact of global warming has complicated traditional methods to infer the weather. To this end, agriculture has also given more attention to greenhouse cultivation. In the early days of industrial research, Wi-Fi and ZigBee were used as short-or medium-distance communication technologies for transmissions in the network layer of the IoT architecture. Instead of long-distance communication technologies, such as LoRa and NB-IoT, the features of… More >

    A. Backia Abinaya1,*, G. Karthikeyan2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.1, pp. 325-338, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.020896

Abstract The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is utilized for collecting enormous real time information driven traffics and alert drivers depending on situations. In recent times, all smart vehicles are developed with IoT devices. These devices communicate with a radio access unit (RAU) at road side. Moreover, a 5G system is equipped with a base station and connection interfaces that use optic fiber for their effective communication. For a fast mode of communication, the IoV must offload its data to the nearest edge nodes. The main problem with the IoV is that it generates enormous data which is offloaded randomly during the… More >
