    Abstract Ambisonics is a series of spatial sound reproduction system based on spatial harmonics decomposition and each order approximation of sound field. Ambisonics signals are originally intended for loudspeakers reproduction. By using head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) filters, binaural Ambisonics converts the Ambisonics signals for static or dynamic headphone reproduction. In present work, the performances of static and dynamic binaural Ambisonics reproduction are evaluated and compared.     Abstract In this article, the post-peak softening stage of the constitutive relation and the elastic stiffness degradation of concrete are investigated, and a highly reasonable constitutive relation curve is proposed. At the material level, the energy change in the concrete failure process is studied based on the different stress-strain curves of concrete under uniaxial tension and compression. The concrete failure criterion based on elastic strain energy density is deemed suitable and consistent with the experimental phenomena.     Abstract To play melodious sound, a microspeaker in a cellular phone needs to generate wide, smooth sound-pressure-level distribution over the mid-frequency spectrum, ranging from 600 Hz to 10 kHz. In this paper, parametric study is carried out to investigate the effect of various design parameters on the sound-pressure-level distribution. The electro-mechano-acoustical analogous approach is applied to simulate the sound-pressure-level. Also, experiments are conducted for verifications. Discussions about each role of the design parameters are addressed to improve the overall sound-pressure-level performance over the mid-frequency spectrum. More >

    Mechanical Response and Energy Dissipation Analysis of Heat-Treated Granite Under Repeated Impact Loading

    Abstract The mechanical behaviors and energy dissipation characteristics of heat-treated granite were investigated under repeated impact loading. The granite samples were firstly heat-treated at the temperature of 20°C, 200°C, 400°C, and 600°C, respectively. The thermal damage characteristics of these samples were then observed and measured before impact tests. Dynamic impact compression tests finally were carried out using a modified split-Hopkinson pressure bar under three impact velocities of 12 m/s, 15 m/s, and 18 m/s.     Abstract Taiwan frequently suffers from strong ground motion, and the current building code is essentially based on two seismic zones, A and B. The design value of horizontal acceleration for zone A is 0.33g, and the value for zone B is 0.23g.     Abstract In January 2015, the first quantum homomorphic signature scheme was proposed creatively. However, only one verifier is allowed to verify a signature once in this scheme. In order to support repeatable verification for general scenario, we propose a new quantum homomorphic signature scheme with repeatable verification by introducing serial verification model and parallel verification model. Serial verification model solves the problem of signature verification by combining key distribution and Bell measurement.     Band Selection Method of Absorption Peak Perturbance for the FTIR/ATR Spectrum Analysis

    Abstract The rapid quantification method of human serum glucose was established by using the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and attenuated total reflection (ATR). By the subtracted spectra between glucose aqueous solution and de-ionized water, absorption peaks are calculated in fingerprint area. Based on these absorption peaks and multiple linear regression (MLR) model, discrete band selection method of absorption peaks disturbance model (APDM) was developed. 5 absorption peaks 1150 cm-1, 1103 cm-1, 1078 cm-1, 1034 cm-1, 991 cm-1 were found in fingerprint area.
