    Hua Leng1, Silin He2, Jian Qiu3, Feng Liu4,*, Xinfei Huang4, Jiran Zhu2

    Energy Engineering, Vol.121, No.1, pp. 77-94, 2024, DOI:10.32604/ee.2023.028340

Abstract The distribution network exhibits complex structural characteristics, which makes fault localization a challenging task. Especially when a branch of the multi-branch distribution network fails, the traditional multi-branch fault location algorithm makes it difficult to meet the demands of high-precision fault localization in the multi-branch distribution network system. In this paper, the multi-branch mainline is decomposed into single branch lines, transforming the complex multi-branch fault location problem into a double-ended fault location problem. Based on the different transmission characteristics of the fault-traveling wave in fault lines and non-fault lines, the endpoint reference time difference matrix S and the fault time difference… More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.138, No.2, pp. 1795-1812, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.030008

Abstract To solve the problem of data fusion for prior information such as track information and train status in train positioning, an adaptive H filtering algorithm with combination constraint is proposed, which fuses prior information with other sensor information in the form of constraints. Firstly, the train precise track constraint method of the train is proposed, and the plane position constraint and train motion state constraints are analysed. A model for combining prior information with constraints is established. Then an adaptive H filter with combination constraints is derived based on the adaptive adjustment method of the robustness factor. Finally, the positioning… More >

Jiwei Fan, Xiaogang Yang*, Ruitao Lu, Qingge Li, Siyu Wang

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.77, No.1, pp. 1031-1052, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.039582

Abstract In recent years, many visual positioning algorithms have been proposed based on computer vision and they have achieved good results. However, these algorithms have a single function, cannot perceive the environment, and have poor versatility, and there is a certain mismatch phenomenon, which affects the positioning accuracy. Therefore, this paper proposes a location algorithm that combines a target recognition algorithm with a depth feature matching algorithm to solve the problem of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) environment perception and multi-modal image-matching fusion location. This algorithm was based on the single-shot object detector based on multi-level feature pyramid network (M2Det) algorithm and… More >

    Hang Yang1,2,3,*, Xunbo Li1, Witold Pedrycz2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.3, pp. 3039-3058, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.040412

Abstract Fire rescue challenges and solutions have evolved from straightforward plane rescue to encompass 3D space due to the rise of high-rise city buildings. Hence, this study facilitates a system with quick and simplified on-site launching and generates real-time location data, enabling fire rescuers to arrive at the intended spot faster and correctly for effective and precise rescue. Auto-positioning with step-by-step instructions is proposed when launching the locating system, while no extra measuring instrument like Total Station (TS) is needed. Real-time location tracking is provided via a 3D space real-time locating system (RTLS) constructed using Ultra-wide Bandwidth technology (UWB), which requires… More >

Efficient Computational Inverse Method for Positioning Accuracy Estimation of Industrial Robot Under Stochastic Uncertainties

    Jinhe Zhang2, Jie Liu1,2,*

The International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 1-2, 2023, DOI:10.32604/icces.2023.09279

Abstract The small uncertainties of geometric parameters of industrial robot, which are caused by links manufacturing and service wear errors, can deteriorate the positioning accuracy of end-effector through multi-level propagation and is difficult to be measured and compensated by high-precision instruments. Hence, an efficient inverse identification method of parameter uncertainty based on global sensitivity analysis and optimal measurement point selection is proposed. In order to ensure the universality of identification results in calibration and control works, the standard Denavit-Hartenberg (D-H) method is employed to establish the kinematic model of series 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) robots. Considering the stochastic error between… More >

    Oncology Research, Vol.31, No.3, pp. 333-343, 2023, DOI:10.32604/or.2023.028694

Abstract Various therapeutic strategies have been developed to overcome ovarian cancer. However, the prognoses resulting from these strategies are still unclear. In the present work, we screened 54 small molecule compounds approved by the FDA to identify novel agents that could inhibit the viability of human epithelial ovarian cancer cells. Among these, we identified disulfiram (DSF), an old alcohol-abuse drug, as a potential inducer of cell death in ovarian cancer. Mechanistically, DSF treatment significantly reduced the expression of the anti-apoptosis marker B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 (Bcl-2) and increase the expression of the apoptotic molecules Bcl2 associated X (Bax) and cleaved caspase-3 to promote… More >
