    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.139, No.2, pp. 1863-1892, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.031480

Abstract This research is devoted to diagnosing water-borne infectious diseases caused by floods employing a novel diagnosis approach, the Einstein hybrid structure of q-rung orthopair fuzzy soft set. This approach integrates parts of fuzzy logic and soft set theory to develop a robust alternative for disease detection in stressful situations, especially in areas affected by floods. Compared to the traditional intuitionistic fuzzy soft set and Pythagorean fuzzy soft set, the q-rung orthopair fuzzy soft set (q-ROFSS) adequately incorporates unclear and indeterminate facts. The major objective of this investigation is to formulate the q-rung orthopair fuzzy soft Einstein hybrid weighted average (q-ROFSEHWA)… More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.139, No.2, pp. 1829-1862, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.030687

Abstract Green supplier selection is an important debate in green supply chain management (GSCM), attracting global attention from scholars, especially companies and policymakers. Companies frequently search for new ideas and strategies to assist them in realizing sustainable development. Because of the speculative character of human opinions, supplier selection frequently includes unreliable data, and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft set (IVPFSS) provides an exceptional capacity to cope with excessive fuzziness, inconsistency, and inexactness through the decision-making procedure. The main goal of this study is to come up with new operational laws for interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft numbers (IVPFSNs) and create two interaction… More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.138, No.2, pp. 1951-1979, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.030896

Abstract Tourism is a popular activity that allows individuals to escape their daily routines and explore new destinations for various reasons, including leisure, pleasure, or business. A recent study has proposed a unique mathematical concept called a q−Rung orthopair fuzzy hypersoft set (ROFHS) to enhance the formal representation of human thought processes and evaluate tourism carrying capacity. This approach can capture the imprecision and ambiguity often present in human perception. With the advanced mathematical tools in this field, the study has also incorporated the Einstein aggregation operator and score function into the ROFHS values to support multi-attribute decision-making algorithms. By implementing… More >

    Xiaoyan Wang1, Ahmed Mostafa Khalil2,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.136, No.3, pp. 2861-2871, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.026021

Abstract The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of a generalized Pythagorean fuzzy soft set (GPFSS), which is a combination of the generalized fuzzy soft sets and Pythagorean fuzzy sets. Several of important operations of GPFSS including complement, restricted union, and extended intersection are discussed. The basic properties of GPFSS are presented. Further, an algorithm of GPFSSs is given to solve the fuzzy soft decision-making. Finally, a comparative analysis between the GPFSS approach and some existing approaches is provided to show their reliability over them. More >

Abstract In this paper, a decision-making problem with a q-rung orthopair fuzzy hypersoft environment is developed, and two operators of ordered weighted average and induced ordered weighted average are developed. Several fundamental features are also derived. The induced ordered weighted average operator is essential in a q-ROFH environment as the induced ordered aggregation operators are special cases of the existing aggregation operators that already exist in q-ROFH environments. The main function of these operators is to help decision-makers gain a complete understanding of uncertain facts. The proposed aggregation operator is applied to a decision-making problem, with the aim of selecting the… More > Graphic Abstract

Abstract This paper aims to introduce the novel concept of neutrosophic crisp soft set (NCSS), including various types of neutrosophic crisp soft sets (NCSSs) and their fundamental operations. We define NCS-mapping and its inverse NCS-mapping between two NCS-classes. We develop a robust mathematical modeling with the help of NCS-mapping to analyze the emerging trends in social networking systems (SNSs) for our various generations. We investigate the advantages, disadvantages, and natural aspects of SNSs for five generations. With the changing of the generations, it is analyzed that emerging trends and the benefits of SNSs are increasing day by day. The suggested modeling… More > Graphic Abstract

Einstein Weighted Geometric Operator for Pythagorean Fuzzy Hypersoft with Its Application in Material Selection

    Rana Muhammad Zulqarnain1, Imran Siddique2, Rifaqat Ali3, Fahd Jarad4,5,6,*, Aiyared Iampan7

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.135, No.3, pp. 2557-2583, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.023040

Abstract Hypersoft set theory is a most advanced form of soft set theory and an innovative mathematical tool for dealing with unclear complications. Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft set (PFHSS) is the most influential and capable leeway of the hypersoft set (HSS) and Pythagorean fuzzy soft set (PFSS). It is also a general form of the intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft set (IFHSS), which provides a better and more perfect assessment of the decision-making (DM) process. The fundamental objective of this work is to enrich the precision of decision-making. A novel mixed aggregation operator called Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft Einstein weighted geometric (PFHSEWG) based on Einstein’s… More >

Aggregation Operators for Interval-Valued Pythagorean Fuzzy Hypersoft Set with Their Application to Solve MCDM Problem

    Rana Muhammad Zulqarnain1, Imran Siddique2, Rifaqat Ali3, Fahd Jarad4,5,6,*, Aiyared Iampan7

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.135, No.1, pp. 619-651, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.022767

Abstract Experts use Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft sets (PFHSS) in their investigations to resolve the indeterminate and imprecise information in the decision-making process. Aggregation operators (AOs) perform a leading role in perceptivity among two circulations of prospect and pull out concerns from that perception. In this paper, we extend the concept of PFHSS to interval-valued PFHSS (IVPFHSS), which is the generalized form of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft set. The IVPFHSS competently deals with uncertain and ambagious information compared to the existing interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft set. It is the most potent method for amplifying fuzzy data in the decision-making (DM) practice. Some… More >

A New Approach to Vague Soft Bi-Topological Spaces

    Arif Mehmood1, Saleem Abdullah2, Choonkil Park3,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.1, pp. 411-428, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.016967

Abstract Fuzzy soft topology considers only membership value. It has nothing to do with the non-membership value. So an extension was needed in this direction. Vague soft topology addresses both membership and non-membership values simultaneously. Sometimes vague soft topology (single structure) is unable to address some complex structures. So an extension to vague soft bi-topology (double structure) was needed in this direction. To make this situation more meaningful, a new concept of vague soft bi-topological space is introduced and its structural characteristics are attempted with a new definition. In this article, new concept of vague soft bi-topological space (VSBTS) is initiated… More >

A New Attempt to Neutrosophic Soft Bi-Topological Spaces

    Arif Mehmood1, Muhammad Aslam2, Muhammad Imran Khan3, Humera Qureshi3, Choonkil Park4,*, Jung Rye Lee5

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.3, pp. 1565-1585, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.018518

Abstract In this article, new generalized neutrosophic soft * b open set is introduced in neutrosophic soft bi-topological structurers (NSBTS) concerning soft points of the space. This new set is produced by making the marriage of soft semi-open set with soft pre-open set in neutrosophic soft topological structure. An ample of results are investigated in NSBTS on the basis of this new neutrosophic soft * b open set. Proper examples are settled for justification of these results. The non-validity of some results is vindicated with examples. More >
