    Behavior and preservation of an in vitro collection of European aspen in Spain

    Abstract An in vitro collection has been established with selected European aspen from Palencia province (Spain). Currently, this collection includes 32 high quality clones, selected for their good bearing and healthy state. Most of them belong to different discrete local populations.
    Populus tremula L. was propagated in proliferation Aspen Culture Medium; they required subculture every 3 months.     Abstract A decrease in the tubular expression of albumin endocytic transporters megalin and cubilin has been associated with diabetic nephropathy, but there are no comprehensive studies to date relating early tubulointerstitial injury and the effect of the disease on both transporters in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM).     Influence of the Hole Chamfer on the Characteristics of a Multi-hole Orifice Flowmeter

    Abstract In order to analyze the influence of the hole chamfer on the metering performances of a Multi-hole Orifice Flowmeter and optimize the related orifice structure, a multi-hole orifice flowmeter with DN80 and throttle ratio of 0.45 was considered in the present study. The flow field characteristics were determined in the framework of a CFD technique. The results show that the multi-hole orifice flowmeter with filleting transition around the throttle orifice has higher accuracy in a wide range of the space of parameters, and is more suitable for accurate measurement of fluid in process control.     Abstract Alterations in the gastrointestinal neuromuscular function related to age have been demonstrated in human and animal models. This study analyzes the effects of the aging process on the area of the neuronal cell bodies of the myenteric plexus in the antimesenteric and intermediate regions of the ileal circumference of Wistar, 12 month-old in comparison 3 month-old animals.     Abstract The so-called pore network model has great advantages in describing the process of heat and mass transfer in porous media. In order to construct a random two-dimensional (2D) irregular pore network model for an unconsolidated material, image processing technology was used to extract the required topological and geometric information from a 2D sample of soybean particles, and a dedicated algorithm was elaborated to merge some adjacent small pores. In Argentina, there exists the sweet potato chlorotic dwarf (SPCD), a sweet potato disease caused by triple co-infection with SPCSV, SPFMV and sweet potato mild speckling virus(SPMSV).     Abstract Pollen morphology and the degree of pollen variability within nine species and two varieties of Oxalis species from Buenos Aires Province (Argentina) were studied using light microscopy (LM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
    Oxalis pollen grain is generally 3-colpate and the shape is prolate spheroidal, oblate spheroidal or spheroidal. The exine is microreticulate. The brochi are circular to polygonal; brochi sizes decrease near the colpi. The colpus membrane observed in unacetolysed material, is crustate or granular.     Abstract On the basis of harmonic mapping theory, a mobile grid technology is applied to computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Starting from the observation that standard fixed-grid techniques often fail in addressing problems with large deformations, we elaborate a new algorithm relying on the software COMSOL Multiphysics 5.3a to solve the coupling of the mobile grid equation and the governing differential equations for fluid flow.     Abstract A comparative numerical study has been conducted on the thermal performance of a heat pipe cooling system considering several influential factors such as the coolant flow rate, the coolant inlet temperature, and the input power.
