Abstract In this study, nanocomposite of ternary nitrate molten salt induced with MXene is developed. LiNO3-NaNO3-KNO3 with wt% of 35:12:53 and 35:10:55 are produced and doped with MXene in the wt% of 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5. FTIR result indicates the composites had no chemical reaction occurred during the preparation. UV-VIS analysis shows the absorption enhancement with respect to the concentration of MXene. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was used to measure the thermal stability of the LiNO3-NaNO3-KNO3 induced with MXene. The ternary molten salts were stable at temperature range of 600–700°C. Thermal stability increases with the addition of MXene. 1.5 wt% of… More >

    Chunyang Liu1,2,*, Yangyang Wu1, Yingqi Gao1, Zhenyun Tang3

    FDMP-Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing, Vol.17, No.5, pp. 947-958, 2021, DOI:10.32604/fdmp.2021.016283

Abstract In order to study the performances of high-strength concrete beams including steel fibers and large-particle recycled aggregates, four different beams have been designed, tested experimentally and simulated numerically. As varying parameters, the replacement rates of recycled coarse aggregates and CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) sheets have been considered. The failure mode of these beams, related load deflection curves, stirrup strain and shear capacity have been determined through monotonic loading tests. The simulations have been conducted using the ABAQUS finite element software. The results show that the shear failure mode of recycled concrete beams is similar to that of ordinary concrete… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.1, pp. 521-537, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.018351

Abstract Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is one of the leading technologies for 5G communication. User pairing (UP) and power allocation (PA) are the key controlling mechanisms for the optimization of the performance of NOMA systems. This paper presents a novel UP and PA (UPPA) technique for capacity and fairness maximization in NOMA called (CFM-UPPA). The impact of the power allocation coefficient and the ratio between the channel gains of the paired users on the sum-rate capacity and the fairness in NOMA is firstly investigated. Then, based on this investigation, the PA and UP algorithms of the CFM-UPPA technique are proposed. The… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.1, pp. 283-300, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.017203

Abstract A novel image reversible data-hiding scheme based on primitive and varying radix numerical model is presented in this article. Using varying radix, variable sum of data may be embedded in various pixels of images. This scheme is made adaptive using the correlation of the neighboring pixels. Messages are embedded as blocks of non-uniform length in the high-frequency regions of the rhombus mean interpolated image. A higher amount of data is embedded in the high-frequency regions and lesser data in the low-frequency regions of the image. The size of the embedded data depends on the statistics of the pixel distribution in… More >

A Prediction Method of Trend-Type Capacity Index Based on Recurrent Neural Network

    Wenxiao Wang1,*, Xiaoyu Li1,*, Yin Ding1, Feizhou Wu2, Shan Yang3

    Journal of Quantum Computing, Vol.3, No.1, pp. 25-33, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jqc.2021.016346

Abstract Due to the increase in the types of business and equipment in telecommunications companies, the performance index data collected in the operation and maintenance process varies greatly. The diversity of index data makes it very difficult to perform high-precision capacity prediction. In order to improve the forecasting efficiency of related indexes, this paper designs a classification method of capacity index data, which divides the capacity index data into trend type, periodic type and irregular type. Then for the prediction of trend data, it proposes a capacity index prediction model based on Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), denoted as RNN-LSTM-LSTM. This model… More >
