    Abstract Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of GPS positioning system in practical application, this paper proposes the combination of wireless network positioning technology and GPS positioning system to overcome the low accuracy of GPS positioning system in the case of occlusion. This paper introduces in detail the principle of the application of wireless network positioning technology based on GPS positioning system in geographic information measurement, and illustrates its practical application in production by taking coal mine positioning as an example.     Abstract The Global Positioning System (GPS) offers the interferometer for attitude determination by processing the carrier phase observables. By using carrier phase observables, the relative positioning is obtained in centimeter level. GPS interferometry has been firstly used in precise static relative positioning, and thereafter in kinematic positioning. The carrier phase differential GPS based on interferometer principles can solve for the antenna baseline vector, defined as the vector between the antenna designated master and one of the slave antennas, connected to a rigid body.     Abstract Abnormal effects in GPS broadcast ephemerides can have a significant effect on real-time navigation and positioning solutions that use the orbit and clock error data provided by GPS broadcast ephemerides. This paper describes three types of non-integer-hour navigation data in GPS broadcast ephemeris data. Compared with GPST integer hour data, we find that there are two types of data blocks for non-integer-hour navigation containing gross errors with different levels of precision, which is reflected in the user range accuracy (URA) of the broadcast ephemeris.     Abstract For the sake of a higher accuracy of active aircraft GPS tracking, the tracking algorithm based on pseudo-linear Kalman filter is hereby proposed.     A Fictitious Time Integration Method for Backward Advection-Dispersion Equation

    Abstract The backward advection-dispersion equation (ADE) for identifying the groundwater pollution source identification problems (GPSIPs) is numerically solved by employing a fictitious time integration method (FTIM). The backward ADE is renowned as ill-posed because the solution does not continuously count on the data. We transform the original parabolic equation into another parabolic type evolution equation by introducing a fictitious time coordinate, and adding a viscous damping coefficient to enhance the stability of numerical integration of the discretized equations by employing a group preserving scheme.     A Backward Group Preserving Scheme for Multi-Dimensional Backward Heat Conduction Problems

    Abstract In this article, we propose a backward group preserving scheme (BGPS) to tackle the multi-dimensional backward heat conduction problem (BHCP). The BHCP is well-known as severely ill-posed because the solution does not continuously depend on the given data. When eight numerical examples (including nonlinear and nonhomogeneous BHCP, and Neumann and Robin conditions of homogeneous BHCP) are examined, we find that the BGPS is applicable to the multi-dimensional BHCP.     Abstract The group-preserving schemes developed by Liu (2001) for integrating ordinary differential equations system were adopted the Cayley transform and Padé approximants to formulate the Lie group from its Lie algebra. However, the accuracy of those schemes is not better than second-order.     Abstract The present study shows a backward group preserving scheme (BGPS) to deal with the multi-dimensional backward wave problem (BWP). The BWP is well-known as seriously ill-posed because the solution does not continuously count on the given data. When three numerical experiments are tested, we reveal that the BGPS is applicable to the multi-dimensional BWP. Even with noisy final data, the BGPS is also robust against perturbation.
