    Abstract An unsteady mixed convection flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, incompressible fluid over an oscillating vertical surface in a Darcian porous regime in presence of heat generation/absorption and thermal radiation have been studied.     Abstract The aim of present study is an influence of viscous dissipation and heat source on an unsteady MHD mixed convective, fluid flow past an impulsively started oscillating plate embedded in a porous medium in presence of magnetic field, heat and mass transfer. The modeling equations are converted to dimensionless equations then solved through Galerkin finite element method and discussed in the flow distributions with the help of MATLAB.     Abstract Banana is a tropical crop cultivated in warm places. Chilling stress in Egypt is making banana crops less productive. Abscisic acid (ABA), a key plant hormone, regulates metabolic and physiological processes and protects plants from a variety of stresses. In vitro growing banana shoots were pre-treated with ABA at four concentrations (0, 25, 50, and 100 mM) and chilled at 5°C for 24 h, followed by a six-day recovery period at 25°C.     Abstract Experiments were conducted on a diesel-methanol dual-fuel (DMDF) engine modified by a six-cylinder, turbo-charged, inter-cooled diesel engine.     Abstract In recent years, subsynchronous resonance (SSR) has frequently occurred in DFIG-connected series-compensated systems. For the analysis and prevention, it is of great importance to achieve wide area monitoring of the incident. This paper presents a Hankel dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) method to identify SSR parameters using synchrophasor data. The basic idea is to employ the DMD technique to explore the subspace of Hankel matrices constructed by synchrophasors.
