    Rana Muhammad Zulqarnain1, Imran Siddique2, Aiyared Iampan3, Dumitru Baleanu4,5,6,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.3, pp. 1717-1750, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019408

Abstract Interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy so set (IVPFSS) is a generalization of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy so set (IVIFSS) and interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy set (IVPFS). The IVPFSS handled more uncertainty comparative to IVIFSS; it is the most signicant technique for explaining fuzzy information in the decision-making process. In this work, some novel operational laws for IVPFSS have been proposed. Based on presented operational laws, two innovative aggregation operators (AOs) have been developed such as interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy so weighted average (IVPFSWA) and interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy so weighted geometric (IVPFSWG) operators with their fundamental properties. A multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) approach has been… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.3, pp. 1835-1847, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.018953

Abstract Confidentiality and data integrity are essential paradigms in data aggregation owing to the various cyberattacks in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). This study proposes a novel technique named Lamport certificateless signcryption-based shift-invariant connectionist artificial deep neural networks (LCS-SICADNN) by using artificial deep neural networks to develop the data aggregation security model. This model utilises the input layer with several sensor nodes, four hidden layers to overcome different attacks (data injection, compromised node, Sybil and black hole attacks) and the output layer to analyse the given input. The Lamport one-time certificateless signcryption technique involving three different processes (key generation, signcryption and unsigncryption)… More >

    Yuhua Li1, Zhiqiang He1,2, Junxia Ma1,*, Zhifeng Zhang1,*, Wangwei Zhang1, Prasenjit Chatterjee3, Dragan Pamucar4

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.1, pp. 239-262, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.016287

Abstract The current deep convolution features based on retrieval methods cannot fully use the characteristics of the salient image regions. Also, they cannot effectively suppress the background noises, so it is a challenging task to retrieve objects in cluttered scenarios. To solve the problem, we propose a new image retrieval method that employs a novel feature aggregation approach with an attention mechanism and utilizes a combination of local and global features. The method first extracts global and local features of the input image and then selects keypoints from local features by using the attention mechanism. After that, the feature aggregation mechanism… More >

    Thirumoorthy Palanisamy1,*, Daniyal Alghazzawi2, Surbhi Bhatia3, Areej Abbas Malibari2, Pankaj Dadheech4, Sudhakar Sengan5

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.1, pp. 227-244, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.023692

Abstract Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are spatially distributed to independent sensor networks that can sense physical characteristics such as temperature, sound, pressure, energy, and so on. WSNs have secure link to physical environment and robustness. Data Aggregation (DA) plays a key role in WSN, and it helps to minimize the Energy Consumption (EC). In order to have trustworthy DA with a rate of high aggregation for WSNs, the existing research works have focused on Data Routing for In-Network Aggregation (DRINA). Yet, there is no accomplishment of an effective balance between overhead and routing. But EC required during DA remained unsolved. The… More >

Group Decision-Making Model of Renal Cancer Surgery Options Using Entropy Fuzzy Element Aczel-Alsina Weighted Aggregation Operators under the Environment of Fuzzy Multi-Sets

    Jing Fu1,2, Jun Ye3, Liping Xie1,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.3, pp. 1751-1769, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.018739

Abstract Since existing selection methods of surgical treatment schemes of renal cancer patients mainly depend on physicians’ clinical experience and judgments, the surgical treatment options of renal cancer patients lack their scientifical and reasonable information expression and group decision-making model for renal cancer patients. Fuzzy multi-sets (FMSs) have a number of properties, which make them suitable for expressing the uncertain information of medical diagnoses and treatments in group decision-making (GDM) problems. To choose the most appropriate surgical treatment scheme for a patient with localized renal cell carcinoma (RCC) (T1 stage kidney tumor), this article needs to develop an effective GDM model… More >

Sine Trigonometry Operational Laws for Complex Neutrosophic Sets and Their Aggregation Operators in Material Selection

    D. Ajay1, J. Aldring1, G. Rajchakit2, P. Hammachukiattikul3, N. Boonsatit4,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.2, pp. 1033-1076, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.018267

Abstract In this paper, sine trigonometry operational laws (ST-OLs) have been extended to neutrosophic sets (NSs) and the operations and functionality of these laws are studied. Then, extending these ST-OLs to complex neutrosophic sets (CNSs) forms the core of this work. Some of the mathematical properties are proved based on ST-OLs. Fundamental operations and the distance measures between complex neutrosophic numbers (CNNs) based on the ST-OLs are discussed with numerical illustrations. Further the arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators are established and their properties are verified with numerical data. The general properties of the developed sine trigonometry weighted averaging/geometric aggregation operators for… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.32, No.1, pp. 589-604, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.021068

Abstract Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) encompasses several tiny devices termed as Sensor Nodes (SN) that have restriction in resources with lower energy, memory, together with computation. Data Aggregation (DA) is required to optimize WSN for secured data transmission at Cluster Head (CH) together with Base Station (BS). With regard to the Energy Efficiency (EE) along with the privacy conservation requirements of WSN in big-data processing and aggregation, this paper proposed Diversity centered Adaptive Moth-Flame Optimization (DAMFO) for Optimal Path Selection (OPS) and DA in WSN. In the proposed work, initially, the Trust Evaluation (TE) process is performed. The Pompeiu Distance-centered Fuzzy… More >

    Gulzar Mehmood1, Muhammad Zahid Khan1, Muhammad Fayaz2, Mohammad Faisal1, Haseeb Ur Rahman1, Jeonghwan Gwak3,4,5,6,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.3, pp. 5929-5948, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.020546

Abstract Due to the advancement in wireless technology and miniaturization, Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) have gained enormous popularity, having various applications, especially in the healthcare sector. WBANs are intrinsically resource-constrained; therefore, they have specific design and development requirements. One such highly desirable requirement is an energy-efficient and reliable Data Aggregation (DA) mechanism for WBANs. The efficient and reliable DA may ultimately push the network to operate without much human intervention and further extend the network lifetime. The conventional client-server DA paradigm becomes unsuitable and inefficient for WBANs when a large amount of data is generated in the network. Similarly, in… More >

Multivariate Outlier Detection for Forest Fire Data Aggregation Accuracy

    Ahmad A. A. Alkhatib*, Qusai Abed-Al

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.31, No.2, pp. 1071-1087, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.020461

Abstract Wireless sensor networks have been a very important means in forest monitoring applications. A clustered sensor network comprises a set of cluster members and one cluster head. The cluster members are normally located close to each other, with overlaps among their sensing coverage within the cluster. The cluster members concurrently detect the same event to send to the Cluster Head node. This is where data aggregation is deployed to remove redundant data at the cost of data accuracy, where some data generated by the sensing process might be an outlier. Thus, it is important to conserve the aggregated data’s accuracy… More >
