    Zhaoxi Ma1, Qin Zhao1,*, Tianyou Cang1, Zongjian Li2, Yiyun Zhu1, Xinhong Hei3

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.134, No.1, pp. 637-655, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.021216

Abstract To meet the requirements of specifications, intelligent optimization of steel bar blanking can improve resource utilization and promote the intelligent development of sustainable construction. As one of the most important building materials in construction engineering, reinforcing bars (rebar) account for more than 30% of the cost in civil engineering. A significant amount of cutting waste is generated during the construction phase. Excessive cutting waste increases construction costs and generates a considerable amount of COCO2 emission. This study aimed to develop an optimization algorithm for steel bar blanking that can be used in the intelligent optimization of steel bar engineering to… More >

Yuanbang Li*, Wengang Zhou, Chi Xu, Yuchun Shi

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.3, pp. 1365-1386, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019656

Abstract With the widespread use of mobile phones, users can share their location and activity anytime, anywhere, as a form of check-in data. These data reflect user features. Long-term stability and a set of user-shared features can be abstracted as user roles. This role is closely related to the users’ social background, occupation, and living habits. This study makes four main contributions to the literature. First, user feature models from different views for each user are constructed from the analysis of the check-in data. Second, the K-means algorithm is used to discover user roles from user features. Third, a reinforcement learning… More >

Research on the Optimization of a Drilling Rock Breaking Method Based on Fuzzy Cluster Analysis

    Kun Du, Zhen Wei*

    FDMP-Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing, Vol.18, No.3, pp. 751-760, 2022, DOI:10.32604/fdmp.2022.019577

Abstract Improving drilling efficiency is the best way to reduce drilling costs and the choice of the drilling mode is instrumental in doing so. At present, however, a standard approach for the optimization of these processes does not exists yet. Through a comparative statistical analysis of the rock-breaking mechanisms and the characteristics of different drilling methods, this research proposes a set of cues to achieve this objective. Available statistical data are classified by means of a fuzzy cluster analysis according to the anti-drilling characteristic parameters of formation. The results show that different drilling methods rely on their own rock breaking mechanisms… More >

    S. Baskaran1,*, Raghuraman Sivalingam2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.2, pp. 1103-1119, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.023093

Abstract An epic topology of PV system for 1Ф grid tied framework with high gain altered Re Boost Luo converter is developed. In this epic topology, the PV (Photovoltaic) system is connected with single phase network via a Re Boost Luo converter and Voltage Source Inverter. The voltage variance issues of PV framework are overwhelmed by extricating most extreme power from the array. The Whale Optimization is utilized to extract the vast majority of the power from photovoltaic array. Similar to the existing topology, the proposed scheme is designed using reference casings of direct and quadrature hub components. The Re Boost… More >

Abstract The day surgery management mode is mainly decentralized management, with clinical departments as the unit, and with reference to the experience of inter project operation management in benchmark hospitals, the empirical management is implemented. With the development of day surgery, the extensive decentralized management mode has been unable to meet the needs of the current day surgery development situation. At first, the paper carefully analyzes the existing problems in the day surgery process in the day ward of the Children’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. And then, the concerns of doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists and other hospital staff in day ward,… More >

Modified Mackenzie Equation and CVOA Algorithm Reduces Delay in UASN

    R. Amirthavalli1,*, S. Thanga Ramya2, N. R. Shanker3

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.41, No.2, pp. 829-847, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.020307

Abstract In Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network (UASN), routing and propagation delay is affected in each node by various water column environmental factors such as temperature, salinity, depth, gases, divergent and rotational wind. High sound velocity increases the transmission rate of the packets and the high dissolved gases in the water increases the sound velocity. High dissolved gases and sound velocity environment in the water column provides high transmission rates among UASN nodes. In this paper, the Modified Mackenzie Sound equation calculates the sound velocity in each node for energy-efficient routing. Golden Ratio Optimization Method (GROM) and Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) predicts… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.3, pp. 5569-5581, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.020884

Abstract In aircraft wings, aileron mass parameter presents a tremendous effect on the velocity and frequency of the flutter problem. For that purpose, we present the optimization of a composite design wing with an aileron, using machine-learning approach. Mass properties and its distribution have a great influence on the multi-variate optimization procedure, based on speed and frequency of flutter. First, flutter speed was obtained to estimate aileron impact. Additionally mass-equilibrated and other features were investigated. It can deduced that changing the position and mass properties of the aileron are tangible following the speed and frequency of the wing flutter. Based on… More >

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.41, No.1, pp. 109-125, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.020414

Abstract Phishing attacks are security attacks that do not affect only individuals’ or organizations’ websites but may affect Internet of Things (IoT) devices and networks. IoT environment is an exposed environment for such attacks. Attackers may use thingbots software for the dispersal of hidden junk emails that are not noticed by users. Machine and deep learning and other methods were used to design detection methods for these attacks. However, there is still a need to enhance detection accuracy. Optimization of an ensemble classification method for phishing website (PW) detection is proposed in this study. A Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used for… More >
