    Prasanalakshmi Balaji1,*, B. Sri Revathi2, Praveetha Gobinathan3, Shermin Shamsudheen3, Thavavel Vaiyapuri4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 2275-2291, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.028560

Abstract Recently medical image classification plays a vital role in medical image retrieval and computer-aided diagnosis system. Despite deep learning has proved to be superior to previous approaches that depend on handcrafted features; it remains difficult to implement because of the high intra-class variance and inter-class similarity generated by the wide range of imaging modalities and clinical diseases. The Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare systems is quickly becoming a viable alternative for delivering high-quality medical treatment in today’s e-healthcare systems. In recent years, the Internet of Things (IoT) has been identified as one of the most interesting research subjects in… More >

Moving Multi-Object Detection and Tracking Using MRNN and PS-KM Models

    V. Premanand*, Dhananjay Kumar

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.2, pp. 1807-1821, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.026742

Abstract On grounds of the advent of real-time applications, like autonomous driving, visual surveillance, and sports analysis, there is an augmenting focus of attention towards Multiple-Object Tracking (MOT). The tracking-by-detection paradigm, a commonly utilized approach, connects the existing recognition hypotheses to the formerly assessed object trajectories by comparing the similarities of the appearance or the motion between them. For an efficient detection and tracking of the numerous objects in a complex environment, a Pearson Similarity-centred Kuhn-Munkres (PS-KM) algorithm was proposed in the present study. In this light, the input videos were, initially, gathered from the MOT dataset and converted into frames.… More >

Speech Separation Methodology for Hearing Aid

    Joseph Sathiadhas Esra1,*, Y. Sukhi2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.2, pp. 1659-1678, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.025969

Abstract In the design of hearing aids (HA), the real-time speech-enhancement is done. The digital hearing aids should provide high signal-to-noise ratio, gain improvement and should eliminate feedback. In generic hearing aids the performance towards different frequencies varies and non uniform. Existing noise cancellation and speech separation methods drops the voice magnitude under the noise environment. The performance of the HA for frequency response is non uniform. Existing noise suppression methods reduce the required signal strength also. So, the performance of uniform sub band analysis is poor when hearing aid is concern. In this paper, a speech separation method using Non-negative… More >

A Recursive High Payload Reversible Data Hiding Using Integer Wavelet and Arnold Transform

    Amishi Mahesh Kapadia*, P. Nithyanandam

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 537-552, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.027070

Abstract Reversible data hiding is an information hiding technique that requires the retrieval of the error free cover image after the extraction of the secret image. We suggested a technique in this research that uses a recursive embedding method to increase capacity substantially using the Integer wavelet transform and the Arnold transform. The notion of Integer wavelet transforms is to ensure that all coefficients of the cover images are used during embedding with an increase in payload. By scrambling the cover image, Arnold transform adds security to the information that gets embedded and also allows embedding more information in each iteration.… More >

Nguyen Tu Trung1,*, Tran Thi Ngan1, Tran Manh Tuan1, To Huu Nguyen2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.1, pp. 535-544, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.026011

Abstract Fusing medical images is a topic of interest in processing medical images. This is achieved to through fusing information from multimodality images for the purpose of increasing the clinical diagnosis accuracy. This fusion aims to improve the image quality and preserve the specific features. The methods of medical image fusion generally use knowledge in many different fields such as clinical medicine, computer vision, digital imaging, machine learning, pattern recognition to fuse different medical images. There are two main approaches in fusing image, including spatial domain approach and transform domain approachs. This paper proposes a new algorithm to fusion multimodal images.… More >

Research on WNN Greenhouse Temperature Prediction Method Based on GA

    Wenbin Dai1, Lina Wang1,2,*, Binrui Wang1, Xiaohong Cui1, Xue Li1

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.10, pp. 2283-2296, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.021096

Abstract Temperature in agricultural production has a direct impact on the growth of crops. The emergence of greenhouses has improved the impact of the original unpredictable changes in temperature, but the temperature modeling of greenhouses is still the main direction at present. Neural network modeling relies on sufficient actual data to model greenhouses, but there is a widening gap in the application of different neural networks. This paper proposes a greenhouse temperature prediction model based on wavelet neural network with genetic algorithm (GA-WNN). With the simple network structure and the nonlinear adaptability of the wavelet basis function, wavelet neural network (WNN)… More >

    Huakun Que1, Guolong Lin2, Wenchong Guo1, Xiaofeng Feng1, Zetao Jiang1, Yunfei Cao2,*, Jinmin Fan2, Zhixian Ni3

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.4, pp. 1453-1466, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.018448

Abstract In order to solve the failure of electricity anti-stealing detection device triggered by the noise mixed in high-frequency electricity stealing signals, a denoising method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and wavelet threshold denoising (WTD) was applied to extract the effective high-frequency electricity stealing signals. First, the signal polluted by noise was pre-decomposed using the VMD algorithm, the instantaneous frequency means of each pre-decomposed components was analyzed, so as to determine the optimal K value. The optimal K value was used to decompose the polluted signal into K intrinsic mode components, and the sensitive mode components were determined through the… More > Graphic Abstract

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 363-379, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027009

Abstract This paper mainly was based on the average temperature, precipitation, humidity, and wind direction of Gangcha county from 1960 to 2013. By using wavelet analysis and Mann-Kendall (M-K) mutation analysis, specifically analyzed the climate change characteristics in the lake basin area of Gangcha county. The result showed that the climatic change in the lake basin area of Gangcha county is noticeable. The average temperature, average minimum temperature, average maximum temperature, and evaporation showed an increasing trend. But the evaporation in the study area was higher than precipitation. The average relative humidity showed a decreasing trend. And the sunshine and the… More >

Feature Extraction and Classification of Plant Leaf Diseases Using Deep Learning Techniques

    K. Anitha1, S. Srinivasan2,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 233-247, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.026542

Abstract In India’s economy, agriculture has been the most significant contributor. Despite the fact that agriculture’s contribution is decreasing as the world’s population grows, it continues to be the most important source of employment with a little margin of difference. As a result, there is a pressing need to pick up the pace in order to achieve competitive, productive, diverse, and long-term agriculture. Plant disease misinterpretations can result in the incorrect application of pesticides, causing crop harm. As a result, early detection of infections is critical as well as cost-effective for farmers. To diagnose the disease at an earlier stage, appropriate… More >
