Second, the relation graph is used to display the data of each student, so as to realize the visual sharing of data. Third, realize the collaborative information security mechanism from three aspects to ensure the legal sharing of data. Finally, the platform development is completed with Java. It can help to improve the effectiveness of educating… More >

Root-Of-Trust for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipeline in Cloud Computing

Abdul Saboor1,*, Mohd Fadzil Hassan2, Rehan Akbar1, Erwin Susanto3, Syed Nasir Mehmood Shah4, Muhammad Aadil Siddiqui5, Saeed Ahmed Magsi5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 2223-2239, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.028382

Abstract Cloud computing has gained significant use over the last decade due to its several benefits, including cost savings associated with setup, deployments, delivery, physical resource sharing across virtual machines, and availability of on-demand cloud services. However, in addition to usual threats in almost every computing environment, cloud computing has also introduced a set of new threats as consumers share physical resources due to the physical co-location paradigm. Furthermore, since there are a growing number of attacks directed at cloud environments (including dictionary attacks, replay code attacks, denial of service attacks, rootkit attacks, code injection attacks, etc.), customers require additional assurances… More >

Detecting and Preventing of Attacks in Cloud Computing Using Hybrid Algorithm

    R. S. Aashmi1, T. Jaya2,*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 79-95, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.024291

    Abstract

Cloud computing is the technology that is currently used to provide users with infrastructure, platform, and software services effectively. Under this system, Platform as a Service (PaaS) offers a medium headed for a web development platform that uniformly distributes the requests and resources. Hackers using Denial of service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks abruptly interrupt these requests. Even though several existing methods like signature-based, statistical anomaly-based, and stateful protocol analysis are available, they are not sufficient enough to get rid of Denial of service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and hence there is a… More >

Detection of Toxic Content on Social Networking Platforms Using Fine Tuned ULMFiT Model

    Hafsa Naveed1, Abid Sohail2, Jasni Mohamad Zain3,*, Noman Saleem4, Rao Faizan Ali5, Shahid Anwar6

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 15-30, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.023277

Abstract Question and answer websites such as Quora, Stack Overflow, Yahoo Answers and Answer Bag are used by professionals. Multiple users post questions on these websites to get the answers from domain specific professionals. These websites are multilingual meaning they are available in many different languages. Current problem for these types of websites is to handle meaningless and irrelevant content. In this paper we have worked on the Quora insincere questions (questions which are based on false assumptions or questions which are trying to make a statement rather than seeking for helpful answers) dataset in order to identify user insincere questions,… More >

Engineered Wood/Bamboo Laminated Composites for Outdoor Hydrophilic Platforms: Structural Design and Performance

Lifeng Ji, Qiuxia Zhang, Fei Rao*

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.10, No.9, pp. 2477-2487, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2022.021761

Abstract Landscape designers increasingly prefer to use wood/bamboo-based composites for outdoor hydrophilic platforms owing to their natural surface texture, high performance, and sustainability to facilitate extensive interaction between people and water and enable the full range of ecological functions of water resources. In this study, four laminated composite (LC) structures were designed and manufactured using fluffed bamboo and wood veneers. Their surface textures, profile densities, water resistances, and mechanical properties were then evaluated. The type of fluffed veneer of the surface layer determined the texture of the LC surface. The specific structures of fluffed bamboo and wood veneer laminations were found… More >

Resource Scheduling Strategy for Performance Optimization Based on Heterogeneous CPU-GPU Platform

    Juan Fang1,*, Kuan Zhou1, Mengyuan Zhang1, Wei Xiang2,3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 1621-1635, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027147

Abstract In recent years, with the development of processor architecture, heterogeneous processors including Center processing unit (CPU) and Graphics processing unit (GPU) have become the mainstream. However, due to the differences of heterogeneous core, the heterogeneous system is now facing many problems that need to be solved. In order to solve these problems, this paper try to focus on the utilization and efficiency of heterogeneous core and design some reasonable resource scheduling strategies. To improve the performance of the system, this paper proposes a combination strategy for a single task and a multi-task scheduling strategy for multiple tasks. The combination strategy… More >

Optimization of a High-pressure Water-Powder Mixing Prototype for Offshore Platforms

    Shu Zheng1,*, Yang Yaln2, Shuyu Liu3, Mingxuan Xia1,2, Shaojie Li1,2

    FDMP-Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing, Vol.18, No.3, pp. 537-548, 2022, DOI:10.32604/fdmp.2022.018500

Abstract A new device is designed to promote the mixing of high-pressure water jets and powders in typical industrial applications. The water and powder mixing devices traditionally used on offshore platforms are detrimentally affected by the geometrical configuration of the water nozzle and the powder spraying pipe, which are parallel, resulting in small intersecting volumes of liquid and powder. By allowing the related jets to intersect, in the present work the optimal horizontal distance, vertical distance and intersection angle are determined through a parametric investigation. It is also shown that such values change if the number of water layers is increased… More >

Research on ABAC Access Control Based on Big Data Platform

    Kun Yang1, Xuanxu Jin2, Xingyu Zeng1,*

    Journal of Cyber Security, Vol.3, No.4, pp. 187-199, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jcs.2021.026735

Abstract In the environment of big data, the traditional access control lacks effective and flexible access mechanism. Based on attribute access control, this paper proposes a HBMC-ABAC big data access control framework. It solves the problems of difficult authority change, complex management, over-authorization and lack of authorization in big data environment. At the same time, binary mapping codes are proposed to solve the problem of low efficiency of policy retrieval in traditional ABAC. Through experimental analysis, the results show that our proposed HBMC-ABAC model can meet the current large and complex environment of big data. More >
