    Xiukai Ruan1, Shahid Iqbal Awan2,*

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.4, No.4, pp. 215-225, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2022.038270 - 18 July 2023

Abstract A SCMA ACO-OFDM downlink visible light communication (VLC) system is proposed. Six users share four spectrum resources, four of which are 4 primary color LED lights. ACO-OFDM technology is used to convert the user’s sparse codebook mapped signal into a positive real value signal that can be carried on the light wave, which can realize high-speed parallel communication. Simulation verifies the feasibility of the system. At the same time, the channel model of visible light communication is constructed, and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and channel gain of the visible light channel are systematically analyzed. Finally, the More >

Abstract Rotman lens, which is a radio frequency beam-former that consists of multiple input and multiple output beam ports, can be used in industrial, scientific, and medical applications as a beam steering device. The input ports collect the signals to be propagated through the lens cavity toward the output ports before being transmitted by the antenna arrays to the destination in order to enhance the error performance by optimizing the overall signal to noise ratio (SNR). In this article, a low-cost Rotman lens antenna is designed and deployed to enhance the overall performance of the conventional… More >

Abstract With the rapid development of various applications of Information Technology, big data are increasingly generated by social network services (SNS) nowadays. The designers and providers of SNS distribute different client applications for PC, Mobile phone, IPTV etc., so that users can obtain related service via mobile or traditional Internet. Good scalability and considerably short time delay are important indices for evaluating social network systems. As a result, investigating and mining the principle of users’ behaviors is an important issue which can guide service providers to establish optimal systems with SNS. On the basis of analyzing… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.2, pp. 1367-1375, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.025655 - 03 May 2022

Abstract Cellular systems utilize single and multicarrier waveforms for high-speed data transmission. The Fifth-Generation (5G) system proposes several techniques based on multicarrier waveforms. However, the Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is one of the significant concerns in advanced waveforms as it degrades the framework's efficiency. Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) can provide massive connectivity, which is the crucial requirement of the Internet of Things (IoT). The 3rd generation tested NOMA applications in downlink and uplink transmission. However, NOMA uplink transmission in the power domain has performance degradation and is not considered a possible technique in 3rdMore >

    Sandeep N. Dandu1, Vinay Kumar2, Joydeep Sengupta1, Neeraj D. Bokde3,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.3, pp. 5287-5300, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.026390 - 21 April 2022

Abstract In the non-conventional media like underwater and underground, the Radio Frequency (RF) communication technique does not perform well due to large antenna size requirement and high path loss. In such media, magnetic induction (MI) communication technique is very promising due to small coil size and constant channel behavior. Unlike the RF technique, the communication range in MI technique is relatively less. To enhance this range, a waveguide technique is already brought in practice. This technique employs single layer coils to enhance the performance of MI waveguide. To further enhance the system functioning, in this paper,… More >
