    Abstract Heat transfer in a copper film irradiated by a femtosecond (fs) laser pulse train and by an integrated dual laser beam of a nanosecond pulse with a fspulse train was studied using the semi-classical two-temperature model. The critical point model with three Lorentzian terms was employed to characterize transient optical properties for the laser energy deposition.     A Bibliometric Analysis Unveils Valuable Insights into the Past, Present, and Future Dynamics of Plant Acclimation to Temperature

    Abstract Plant temperature acclimation is closely related to maintaining a positive carbon gain under future climate change. However, no systematic summary of the field has been conducted. Based on this, we analyzed data on plant temperature acclimation from the Web of Science Core Collection database using bibliometric software R, RStudio and VOSviewer. Our study demonstrated that a stabilized upward trajectory was noted in publications (298 papers) from 1986 to 2011, followed by a swift growth (373 papers) from 2012 to 2022.     Abstract In this work, fuel spray parameters are studied by varying the fuel temperature. To overcome the tedious experimental task, a 3-D Computational Fluid Dynamics methodology is adopted by injecting fuel at specified temperatures of 313 K, 353 K and 393 K. The validation is accomplished after the optimal spatial and temporal steps of discretization are found out. At a fuel temperature of 313 K, advancing the injection timing from 6 deg bTDC to 20 deg bTDC increases cylinder peak pressure from 79.8 bar to 90.9 bar.     Abstract Radiofrequency thermal ablation (RFTA) is a medical procedure currently widely adopted for liver tumors treatment. Its outcome is strongly influenced by temperature distribution near the RF applicator therefore continuous measurements are required both to validate RFTA numerical models and to better control the outcome of the procedure. The space-time evolution of the thermal field during RFTA on ex vivo porcine liver tissue has been measured by infrared thermal imaging in different experimental setups.
