    A Compensation Controller Based on a Nonlinear Wavelet Neural Network for Continuous Material Processing Operations

    Abstract Continuous material processing operations like printing and textiles manufacturing are conducted under highly variable conditions due to changes in the environment and/or in the materials being processed. As such, the processing parameters require robust real-time adjustment appropriate to the conditions of a nonlinear system. This paper addresses this issue by presenting a hybrid feedforward-feedback nonlinear model predictive controller for continuous material processing operations. The adaptive feedback control strategy of the controller augments the standard feedforward control to ensure improved robustness and compensation for environmental disturbances and/or parameter uncertainties.     Abstract Tibetan language has very limited resource for conventional automatic speech recognition so far. It lacks of enough data, sub-word unit, lexicons and word inventories for some dialects.     Abstract Propagation characteristics of Rayleigh-type wave in a piezoelectric layered system are theoretically investigated. The piezoelectric layer is considered as a cubic crystal with finite thickness rotated about Y-axis and is imperfectly bonded onto a semi-infinite dielectric substrate. The imperfect interface between the two constituents is assumed to be mechanically compliant and dielectrically weakly conducting.     Abstract Employing Biot’s theory of wave propagation in liquid saturated porous media, the effect of rotation and magnetic field on wave propagation in a hollow poroelastic circular of infinite extent are investigated. An exact closed form solution is presented. General frequency equations for propagation of poroelastic cylinder are obtained when the boundaries are stress free. The frequencies are calculated for poroelastic cylinder for different values of magnetic field and rotation. Numerical results are given and illustrated graphically.
