Summary

The rapid evolution of cyber threats, increasing system complexity, and the widespread deployment of intelligent digital infrastructures have exposed the limitations of conventional rule-based and manually operated cybersecurity solutions. Recent advances in agentic artificial intelligence (Agentic AI), large language models (LLMs), foundation models, autonomous decision-making, and intelligent automation are transforming cybersecurity by enabling adaptive, context-aware, and self-improving defense mechanisms. These technologies enable intelligent agents to perceive, reason, plan, collaborate, and autonomously respond to emerging cyber threats while continuously learning from dynamic environments.

This Special Issue aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers and practitioners to present the latest theoretical advances, methodologies, and practical applications of Agentic AI for intelligent cybersecurity. It welcomes innovative research on autonomous security agents, AI-driven threat detection, secure intelligent systems, cyber defense automation, privacy-preserving AI, trustworthy machine learning, intelligent network protection, digital forensics, secure IoT, cloud and edge security, critical infrastructure protection, and emerging security applications powered by intelligent automation and soft computing techniques. Contributions that bridge artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, optimization, and computational intelligence are particularly encouraged.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
· Architectures, Frameworks & Multi-Agent Collaboration for Autonomous Security
· LLMs, Foundation Models & Generative AI in Proactive Cyber Defense
· Agentic AI for Automated Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Management & Patching
· Intelligent Incident Response, Root-Cause Analysis & Digital Forensics
· Trustworthy, Explainable (XAI) & Privacy-Preserving Security Agents
· Adversarial Robustness, Safety Assessment & Red Teaming for Security AI
· Intelligent Automation for IoT, Edge, Cloud & Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)
· Protection of Critical Infrastructure via Soft Computing & Computational Intelligence
