Summary

Recent advances in autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy technologies have created new opportunities and challenges in the fields of modeling, control, optimization, and intelligent automation.

The growing integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy and neuro-fuzzy systems, as well as advanced optimization techniques, has significantly enhanced the capabilities of modern autonomous and energy systems. Moreover, robust and optimal control methodologies, including LMI-based approaches, H∞ control, state estimation, fault diagnosis, and fault-tolerant control, have become essential tools for addressing uncertainties, disturbances, and complex operating conditions.

This Special Issue aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present recent theoretical developments, innovative methodologies, and practical applications related to intelligent control, modeling, optimization, and artificial intelligence for autonomous systems and renewable energy technologies.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
• Intelligent control, adaptive control, and robust control for complex dynamic systems
• AI-based modeling, identification, and optimization methods
• Machine learning and neural network approaches for control and decision-making
• Fuzzy and neuro-fuzzy systems for intelligent system design
• State estimation, fault diagnosis, and fault-tolerant control under uncertainty
• Optimization-based and LMI-based control design methods
• Intelligent modeling and control in autonomous systems
• AI-driven and fuzzy logic-based approaches for intelligent transportation and automotive systems
• Intelligent modeling, parameter identification, and performance optimization of photovoltaic systems
• AI-based control, optimization, and energy management in renewable energy systems
