    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.47, No.2, pp. 1881-1899, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.034853

Abstract With the development of Internet technology, the explosive growth of Internet information presentation has led to difficulty in filtering effective information. Finding a model with high accuracy for text classification has become a critical problem to be solved by text filtering, especially for Chinese texts. This paper selected the manually calibrated Douban movie website comment data for research. First, a text filtering model based on the BP neural network has been built; Second, based on the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) vector space model and the doc2vec method, the text word frequency vector and the text semantic vector were obtained… More >

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.10, pp. 1-7, 2018, DOI:10.5098/hmt.10.12

Abstract The loop experiment device plays an important role in the study of wax deposition, and the calculation of the temperature distribution of the test section is the key to establish the wax deposition model. In the conditions of the wax deposition was not formed and constant wall temperature of the tube, the energy balance equation is solved by using separation of variables and combining the Kummer equation (S-K method), the distribution law of temperature in the test section is obtained, and the solution results was compared with Svendsen method, the difference between the results obtained by the two methods and… More >

EFFECT OF LOCATION IN TRANSVERSE PLANE FOR 45-DEGREE V-BAFFLE ON FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER MECHANISMS IN A SQUARE CHANNEL

    Amnart Boonloia, Withada Jedsadaratanachaib,*

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.11, pp. 1-16, 2018, DOI:10.5098/hmt.11.29

Abstract Numerical predictions on flow and heat transfer in a square channel heat exchanger placed with V-baffle are examined. The gap spacing between the V-baffle and channel wall is varied for all baffle heights. The laminar regime with Re = 100 – 1000 is considered. The numerical model for the square channel heat exchanger placed with V-baffle is validated. The preliminary result reveals that the computational domain has reliability to predict flow and heat transfer in the channel. The mechanisms on flow and heat transfer in the heat exchanger channel are illustrated at the numerical result section. The thermal performance analysis… More >

INFLUENCE OF RING SIZE AND LOCATION ON FLOW TOPOLOGY, HEAT TRANSFER STRUCTURE AND THERMAL EFFICIENCY IN HEAT EXCHANGER SQUARE CHANNEL PLACED WITH 30-DEGREE INCLINED SQUARE RING

    Amnart Boonloia, Withada Jedsadaratanachaib,*

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.13, pp. 1-11, 2019, DOI:10.5098/hmt.13.28

Abstract This paper presents the numerical investigations (finite volume method with SIMPLE algorithm) on flow structure, heat transfer behavior and performance assessment in heat exchanger square channel placed with 30o inclined square ring (ISR). The influences of ring size and placement on flow and heat transfer characteristics are considered for laminar flow region with the Reynolds number in the range around 100 – 2000. The purpose for the insertion of the ISR in the square channel is to induce the vortex flow and also increase the turbulent mixing. The numerical result reveals that the ring size and location have effects for… More >

    M. C. Shanmukha1, Sokjoon Lee2,*, A. Usha3, K. C. Shilpa4, Muhammad Azeem5

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.137, No.1, pp. 939-964, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.027254

Abstract Graph theory plays a significant role in the applications of chemistry, pharmacy, communication, maps, and aeronautical fields. The molecules of chemical compounds are modelled as a graph to study the properties of the compounds. The geometric structure of the compound relates to a few physical properties such as boiling point, enthalpy, π-electron energy, molecular weight. The article aims to determine the practical application of graph theory by solving one of the interdisciplinary problems describing the structures of benzenoid hydrocarbons and graphenylene. The topological index is an invariant of a molecular graph associated with the chemical structure, which shows the correlation… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.2, pp. 3111-3131, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.036159

Abstract Influence maximization of temporal social networks (IMT) is a problem that aims to find the most influential set of nodes in the temporal network so that their information can be the most widely spread. To solve the IMT problem, we propose an influence maximization algorithm based on an improved K-shell method, namely improved K-shell in temporal social networks (KT). The algorithm takes into account the global and local structures of temporal social networks. First, to obtain the kernel value Ks of each node, in the global scope, it layers the network according to the temporal characteristic of nodes by improving… More >

A Novel Ultra Short-Term Load Forecasting Method for Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Load Using Charging Pile Usage Degree

Jinrui Tang*, Ganheng Ge, Jianchao Liu, Honghui Yang

    Energy Engineering, Vol.120, No.5, pp. 1107-1132, 2023, DOI:10.32604/ee.2023.025666

Abstract Electric vehicle (EV) charging load is greatly affected by many traffic factors, such as road congestion. Accurate ultra short-term load forecasting (STLF) results for regional EV charging load are important to the scheduling plan of regional charging load, which can be derived to realize the optimal vehicle to grid benefit. In this paper, a regional-level EV ultra STLF method is proposed and discussed. The usage degree of all charging piles is firstly defined by us based on the usage frequency of charging piles, and then constructed by our collected EV charging transaction data in the field. Secondly, these usage degrees… More >

Abstract To understand the influence of the initial release conditions on the separation characteristics of the store and improve it under high Mach number (Ma = 4) flight conditions, the overset grid method and the Realizable turbulence model coupled with an equation with six degrees of freedom are used to simulate the store released from the internal bay. The motion trajectory and the attitude angle of the store separation under the conditions of different centroid, velocity, height and control measures are given by the calculated result. Through analysis, the position of the centroid will affect the separation of the store, which needs to… More >

    Abstract

Nitrogen (N), the building block of plant proteins and enzymes, is an essential macronutrient for plant functions. A field experiment was conducted to investigate the impact of different N application rates (28, 57, 85, 114, 142, 171, and 200 kg ha−1) on the performance of spring wheat (cv. Ujala-2016) during the 2017–2018 and 2018–2019 growing seasons. A control without N application was kept for comparison. Two years mean data showed optimum seed yield (5,461.3 kg ha−1) for N-application at 142 kg ha−1 whereas application of lower and higher rates of N did not result in significant and economically higher seed… More >
