    Abstract The communication system of high-speed trains in railway tunnels needs to be built with leaky cables fixed on the tunnel wall with special fixtures.     Abstract This paper presents dynamic-behavior comparisons and related forensic analyses of a submerged floating tunnel (SFT) between numerical simulation and physical experiment under regular and irregular waves. The experiments are conducted in the 3D wave tank with 1:33.3 scale, and the corresponding coupled time-domain simulation tool is devised for comparison.     Abstract This study presents a high-speed geometrically nonlinear flutter analysis calculation method based on the high-precision computational fluid dynamics/computational structural dynamics methods.     Abstract The evolution laws of the large-eddy coherent structure of the wind turbine wake have been evaluated via wind tunnel experiments under uniform and turbulent inflow conditions. The spatial correlation coefficients, the turbulence integral scales and power spectrum are obtained at different tip speed ratios (TSRs) based on the time-resolved particle image velocity (TR-PIV) technique. The results indicate that the large-eddy coherent structures are more likely to dissipate with an increase in turbulence intensity and TSR.     Abstract The tunnel-train-air interaction problem is investigated by using a numerical method able to provide relevant information about pressure fluctuations, aerodynamic drag characteristics and the “piston wind” effect. The method relies on a RNG k-ε two-equation turbulence model.
