This special issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research and breakthroughs in the field of advanced materials and technologies that address key challenges in carbon capture, energy storage, and transportation systems. As the world strives towards sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, this collection aims to highlight the latest advancements contributing to a cleaner and more energy-efficient future. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, the collection aims to inspire further innovation and contribute to the ongoing global transition to a more sustainable and low-carbon future. The focus is on addressing the critical issues of mitigating carbon emissions, enhancing energy storage capabilities, and revolutionizing transportation for a greener tomorrow. It aims to document and report the state-of-the-art research developments, research results, and case studies of novel nanomaterials and the engineering device for efficient and sustainable energy conversion.

Collectively, the special issue is expected to serve as a comprehensive resource for researchers, engineers, and policymakers interested in the latest advancements at the intersection of materials science, energy, and transportation.
