    Abstract Spectral unmixing helps to identify different components present in the spectral mixtures which occur in the uppermost layer of the area owing to the low spatial resolution of hyperspectral images. Most spectral unmixing methods are globally based and do not consider the spectral variability among its endmembers that occur due to illumination, atmospheric, and environmental conditions.     Abstract A hybrid cellular automaton model combined with a finite element method for thermal topology optimization of spindle structure is developed. The higher order 8-node element and von Neumann strategy are employed for the finite element and the cellular element, respectively.     Effect of PEG Incorporation on Physicochemical and in vitro Degradation of PLLA/PDLLA Blends: Application in Biodegradable Implants

    Abstract Polyethylene glycol (PEG) was added at different concentrations to the blend of poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) and poly(D,L-lactic acid)(PDLLA) to tailor the properties. The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement showed that all blends were miscible due to shifting a single glass transition temperature into a lower temperature for increasing PEG content. The DSC, FTIR, and XRD results implied the crystallinity enhancement for PEG content until 8 wt%, then decreased at 12 wt% PEG.     Abstract Oil dispersible suspension concentrates are safe, green, and environmentally friendly formulations. Problems such as layering, pasting, and bottoming are frequently encountered during the production, storage, and transportation process. Polyisobutylene succinimide functions as a dispersant and exhibits great potential to improve the physical stability of the oil dispersible suspension concentrate.
